F2 Boost for 2012

The BriSCA F2 shale scene in the East got a big boost this year when King’s Lynn elected to stay with eight dates as it did in the World Final year rather than go back to the usual four which are run at the Norfolk Arena.

Originally the plan was to run only four dates but following an approach to Trackstar from Nigel Smith of Randall Motorsport and F2 shale lover Mark Sargent, Trackstar doubled the number of F2 dates to be staged to eight.

The reason for this is that four of the dates have been supported by companies that have been sourced by Nigel and Mark. The first of the additional dates takes place on Saturday 31 March and sees the F2s on with the F1 Stock Cars and Mini Stox and is supported by Finn’s Coffee Lounge whilst Randall Motorsports are supporting the meeting on 21 July and T R S Race Harnesses will support the meeting on 25 August. Further support for an event has come from Compomotive Wheels and Mr & Mrs Hilton (Uncle of BriSCA F2 169 Richard Stott).

Trackstar would like to thank all of the above sponsors together with Mark and Nigel for the support the have given BriSCA F2 Racing on shale in 2012. Over 70 cars are booked in for the opener on Saturday 3 March and a fantastic season is on the cards for F2 racing at the Norfolk Arena this year.
