Alex Smith Fords Fundraiser
Banger driver 231 Alex Smith and his team were out recently getting some great publicity for the sport as well as raising money for FORDS - the charity which supports oval racing drivers who may get injured in action.
Alex took his banger to his son's school's summer fete and ran a "guess the weight of the banger" competition as well as allowing the kids to write their names on his car for a donation to FORDS.
In all the team raised a fantastic £87.50 for FORDS and Alex put on a great display winning a trophy in the car with a third place in the White & Yellows race before going on to put in a typically entertaining performance!
