1990 F1 Stock Car World Champion Bert Finnikin is a surprise late entry for Saturday's F1 Stock Car meeting

As the countdown to this weekend's fantastic meeting continues - a surprise late entry in the F1 Stock Cars has come from 1990 World Champion 559 Bert Finnikin.

Bert is the father of Craig and is expected to be out in the Craig Finnikin machine. With sone Craig now sporting the famous 55 number, Bert will be racing under 559 which he used to race under in the F2 Stock Cars.

Bert had a very successful career in F1 Stock Cars with successes incuding championship successes in the National Points and World Final.

Bert moved from F1 to F2 in the 1990s where he had an equally successful career - particularly on his favoured shale surface and fans will be looking forward to his return to F1 in what looks like being a one off appearance.
