BriSCA F1 Stock Cars
In what has been a big year of BriSCA F1 Stock Car action at the venue; this Saturday is going to round out the year with a bang for the F1 King’s Lynn Finale. The Shootout series reaches boiling point this Saturday, 11 points separating the top three. This meeting last year is where it kicked off in the Shootout, will this weekend see the contenders self-destruct again? Those behind the top three aren’t far behind and either and a bad race or two for those up front, the points table could swing!
Frankie Wainman (515), Tom Harris (1), Bobby Griffin (166), Craig Finnikin (55) and Nigel Green (445) all in the mix; it’s all to play for, it really could be make or break for the F1 Shootout!
Turn 3 action in August
T M Browne Ltd – who already support every F1 Stock Car meeting at King’s Lynn by boosting the final winner’s prize purse; are boosting the prize fund for the White and yellows race on the 19th October! An extra £500 will be up for grabs on top of the normal heat monies which are paid on this race. This will be paid out by boosting the top three places and there will also be a £25 bonus which will be paid to the leader of each lap! The White and Yellow grade races are amongst some of the best and the drivers don’t hold back when the lower graders get a chance in the limelight.
All or nothing racing throughout the grades!
While the Shootout racers focus on battling each other and fighting for the silver roof championship, it could create a chance for some others to score well in what is also a 2020 World Championship Qualifying Round. The lower graders could be in a chance of some good results come Saturday!
Not forgetting hardy veteran campaigners Mal Brown (34), Geoff Nicholls (215) and Mick Rogers (244) who are all likely to be in the mix!
Mal Brown (34) will fight for every place!
Terry Hawkins (275), Jim Bamford (302) and Willie Skoyles (541) had a great night last time here on World Final night and will be looking to continue that form in to this Saturday.
Mick Sworder (150) certainly made an impact in August, will that scenario play out any further here tonight? It’s going to be a good night of action that’s for sure.
Big action in August!
Many of the top shale drivers expecting to be in attendance too; plus the return of John Dowson (94) who has been missing from the racing all season, it’s going to be a hotly contested night of Stock Car action throughout the order.
The Shootout points heading in to the event:
2L Saloons
2 Litre Saloons are in action also, racing for the Ray Goudy Trailer Repairs Sponsored Driver of the year Final. We can bet it will be as hard hitting as anything you will see all year!
Diggy Smith (116) – the man to beat, is the current owner of the trophy, how will he fair on Saturday? Many of his many rivals will be in attendance, such as Daniel Parker (306) who has certainly been battling Smith throughout the year.
Diggy Smith (116) and Daniel Parker (306) always battle hard!
Throw in the mix an abundance of quick and aggressive racers throughout the order and the DOTY final could be really interesting!
The penultimate round of the Track Championship also before a Double Points Finale at Christmas, £1000 worth of prize money across the top 8, only 20 points separating the top four; Parker, Smith, The Flying Scot Barry Russell (600) and Deane Mayes (730), what a tantalising finish that could be!
You won't know where to look when the Saloons are on!
V8 Hotstox
Rounding out the line up the V8 Hotstox and kicking off their 2020 road to gold whilst fresh off of their World Final last weekend at a sodden Skegness. Olly Spencer (498) took a great win to lift the gold for the first time, whilst others fell by the way side. World Final Revenge this Saturday?
V8 Hotstox provide great entertainment
The usual top drivers of the formula are coming to play and boy it could be a great night from them as they look to impress on their annual visit.
Former multi-champ Kevin Stuchbury (131) will be right up there we’re sure as will Jon Brown (288) who has had a great second half of the season. Throw in the mix hard and fair racers Jacob Downey (466), Paul Prest (491) and Darren Cottrill (575), it’s going to be interesting, makes sure you check out the V8’s this Saturday.
Darren Cottrill (575) throwing his car around is an impressive sight!
