Introduction

The eagerly anticipated Master of Destruction night – a night geared towards non-stop crashing where each outing for the bangers is a Destruction Derby – last car running wins! The awesome 2 Litre Saloon Stock Cars on the line up too – they never disappoint for action! The 2 Litre Saloons Veterans race will kick off the night; with some great past names of the formula gridding up at another shot of glory.

Spectator gates will open 2 hours before start time. The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under-cover viewing too!), on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.

Please note that all bags will be searched on entry and coolboxes, glass and alcohol are not allowed to be bought into the venue

 

Currently booked in to race; D.D Night Bangers: 10 Unlimiteds, 14 2Litres, 11 1500cc and 25 Micros, also 29 2 Litre Saloons plus 19 2 Litre Saloon Veterans. 

 

If you are booked in and are no longer able to race please let us know asap. If you are not booked in and would like to race please book in asap by texting 07939 580652. Drivers turning up not booked in to race will not receive complimentary admissions which they may be entitled to; Saloon drivers please contact Marion.

Drivers please note that the pits open at 2pm and your early arrival will be appreciated. Drivers turning up in the last hour could well find themselves missing their first race. Please note you will not be able to save space in the pits and if you want to park with someone please make sure you turn up with them. Only race transporters will be allowed in the pits

 

Bangers

4 classes competing in the all Destruction Derby night and as the name suggests; a night of pure destruction ahead, Destruction Derby nights used to be a regular sight around the country, but this is our first ever and we’re excited to see how things go! Some great incentives on offer also, including £2000 of prize money! Details can be found here. 

How it will work – each class has three destruction derbys planned (subject to available cars) – that’s 12 D.D’s scheduled! To win you must be last car running – who will be the Master of Destruction. Please note: For the Destruction Derby’s, half of the track will be blocked off and the big screen end of the arena will be used.

Of the line up a number of drivers competing in multiple classes; most committed will be Taylor Sowter (388) who at the time of writing looks to be competing in all 4; determined to keep his lead at the top of the Entertainer points table.

Ryley Freestone (342) and Aaron Nelson (699) join the line and both are already Destruction Derby winners here this year and will know what it takes to be the last car running.

Callum White (100) is always amongst the action!

 

Callum White (100) often picks up entertainer awards at our meetings; enjoying a crash, he plans to be in an Unlimited and a 2 Litre Banger here.

Lee Barnes (41) is another who dishes out the hits and a busy night for him as he looks to bring a 2 Litre Banger and 2 Micros for competition.

James Licquorice (51) put his last Micro Banger to good use

James Licquorice (51) also one of the top entertainers here, he will be bringing a Micro and 1500cc Banger and looking to make good use of them; he’s not shy of a crash!

Brothers Jackson (330) and Mackenzie Whitehead (331) both enjoy a crash and will be looking to be last car running in their classes. Likewise with Stu Carman (841) and James Porter Chapman (842) in the 2 Litre Bangers.

Others likely to feature to put the hits about and are handy performers to watch Wayne Bailey (149) in the Unlimiteds, Lee Middleton (519) in the 2 Litre’s, Liam Neve (384) in the 1500s and Oliver Marshall (318) in the Micro Bangers.

Destruction is the name of the game on Saturday!

 

 

2 Litre Saloon Stock Cars

The last meeting here for the 2 Litre Saloons was the European Championship weekend, a hard hitting, frantic weekend of action where Diggy Smith (116) and Daniel Parker (306) battled right to the end of the championship with a dramatic last bend crunch; will the feud continue to this weekend? The duo currently are joint leaders of the track championship too, adding extra spice!

Barry Russell (600) doesn’t miss a meeting with us if he can help it, and once again makes the long trip down from Scotland to be join us, he took the final here on the Sunday of the European Championship weekend and will be looking for more of the same.

Ryan Santry (389) leads the way in the Whites and Yellows series, he goes well around Lynn and regularly challenging for the top spot, not afraid to get stuck in too!

Tyler Bloomfield (502) is in good form at the moment, taking a win here last time out and will be hoping for more of the same this time out.

Tommy Barnes (26) and Simon Venni (570) are top drivers and are always worth watching, if they can make use of the front bumper they will.

2 Litre Saloon Stock Cars around King’s Lynn don’t compare and another top drawer meeting is on the cards.

 

2 Litre Saloon Stock Car Veteran Race

John Banwell has put in some great effort behind the scenes to make this a success and we thank him and the drivers for loaning out their cars for this. A number of drivers from the sports past coming out for another blast on track, which will be a great outing we’re sure. Funfair Rides

All the fun of the fair will be at King's Lynn this weekend. The good news for mum and dad is that the ride will be free for the kids to go on as often as they like! Joining us on Saturday will be The Jets!
