Introduction
After a world qualifying weekend on the West Midlands tarmac, it’s time for the mighty BriSCA Formula One Stock Cars to return to shale at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn, on Sturday night (6pm), with another all-important world qualifying round. Also in action are BriSCA Formula Two Stock Cars in a World of Shale qualifier, with the two senior formulas ably backed up by the youngsters in BriSCA Ministox.
There are currently 51 F1 Stock Cars, 47 F2 Stock Cars and 24 BriSCA MiniStox booked in to race.

F1 Stock Cars
With the World Final taking place at the Adrian Flux Arena later this year, our WQR takes on even more significance than usual, as all the top drivers will be looking to get to grips with the Norfolk shale and get one over their rivals.
Home favourite 16 Mat Newson currently lies third in the qualifying points and will be eyeing this weekend as the perfect opportunity to make a statement as he guns for the top of the leaderboard and the right to choose his semi-final venue.
Wainman brothers 212 Danny and 515 Frankie will be keen to make up ground from their current positions of fifth and sixth. Danny was on top form at the F1s’ first King’s Lynn meeting of 2015 four weeks ago, taking second in the final and fourth in the grand national.
212 Danny Wainman has had a terrific start to 2015 and was runner up in the final at the Adrian Flux Arena last time out
We welcome rising star in F1s, 445 Nigel Green for his first appearance at the Adrian Flux Arena in 2015, and are delighted to be having a very rare visit from West Countryman 467 Tim Farrell. Another long distance traveller, though much more frequent visitor, is Dutchman 231 Danny van Spijker.
231 Daniel Van Spijker makes the long trip over from the Netherlands once again to race with us
A particular threat around King’s Lynn is 335 Mark Woodhull, while former World Champion 217 Lee Fairhurst and the versatile 174 Paul Poulter will also be sniffing success.
Former World Champion 217 Lee Fairhurst will be hoping to avoid a clash like this one with 45 Nigel Harrhy last time out.
Riding the crest of a wave after his White & Yellow Series Final success last time is Cambridgeshire man 76 Aaron Cozens – don’t bet against him springing out in front and pulling off a surprise in one of the heats.
Don't be surprised if 76 Aaron Cozens is back amongst the winners circle
With plenty more big names also in action, it looks set to be one that shouldn’t be missed.
F2 Stock Cars
World of Shale qualifying points on offer – at the venue for this year’s World of Shale Final – should mean another big turnout of F2s, providing some excellent racing on the loose.
Final winner last time out was 606 Andrew Palmer who has started 2015 on fire. Flashing lights will be back on his car from next month, but for now he gets to start slightly further forward and will be targeting another big points haul towards his aspirations of a fifth WoS crown.
606 Andrew Palmer will be after more World of Shale Qualifying Points on Saturday
Palmer leads the King’s Lynn track championship but just a point behind is 225 Tony Blackburn who is as quick on shale as anyone at present and has two wins at the Adrian Flux Arena in 2015 to prove it. Next come 871 Mark Simpson and 905 Rob Mitchell, both still seeking their first wins at the track this year.
Can 225 Tony Blackburn win an F2 Stock Car race at the third successive meeting on Saturday?
Superstar 823 Sam Wagner, plus the rest of a large entry of stars will all be fancying their chances of success too.
823 Sam Wagner is always a threat
In the blues, 81 Mark Clayton was a final winner on the shale at Mildenhall two weeks ago, while 259 Simon Farrington is a regular threat on the loose, while 977 Dave Massey is a former World of Shale Champion.
Starting in the yellow grade, watch out for likes of 260 Anthony Winters and 630 Justin Parker, who are both more than capable of race wins.
In his last weekend as a white grader before he jumps to blue, 158 William Clement will be a major threat from the front of the grid.
260 Anthony Winters and 158 Will Clement are two lower grade drivers who are likely to be amongst the results on Saturday night.
BriSCA MiniStox
The usual suspects in the category for under-16s look set to provide some thrilling races, where the action is regularly just as good as their more illustrious counterparts.
Final winner last time out, British Champion 226 Amy Webster will be looking to make the most of her last few meetings before reaching retirement age, while more than half the field – including several second and third generation racers – are capable of challenging her for victories.
Can British Champion 226 Amy Webster take another King's Lynn MiniStox Final win this Saturday night?
Free Fairground Rides for the Kids
The giant Helter Skelter will be back together with free face painting for the kids to ensure that they have plenty to do before the meeting and between races. The good news for mum and dad is that going on the rides and the face painting is all free!
