BriSCA returns to the Adrian Flux Arena this Saturday! The BriSCA season roared back in to life just a handful of weeks ago – and what a return it was, an evening full of Superb Stock Cars – expect more of the same this Saturday night at the track voted by F1 Stock Car fans as track of the year 5 years running and with 39 BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and 58 BriSCA F2 Stock Cars booked in to race; top talent throughout the grades in both classes, it’s going to be a great night of Stock Car action.
Please remember this event is SOLD OUT. Advance ticket only, no pay on the day sales. Please be Covid 19 responsible (wear face coverings, Social distancing, wash/sanitise hands regularly); the venue can only continue to operate if we all do our bit and do the right things.
Drivers please note that the pits open at 2:30pm. Drivers turning up in the last hour could well find themselves missing their first race. Please note you will not be able to save space in the pits and if you want to park with someone please make sure you turn up with them. Only race transporters will be allowed in the pits.
Ticket holder gates will open at 3:30pm. The arena boasts great viewing, free on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities. Please note that all bags will be searched on entry and coolboxes, glass and alcohol are not allowed to be bought into the venue. Catering outlets are open, but operating with Covid19 measures in place. The seated grandstand is open, but with a significantly reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Seats are first come, first served; pay on the day with the attendant £2 per seat.
We look forward to welcoming you back, thank you for your support.

F1 Stock Cars
It’s the 165th BriSCA F1 meeting at King’s Lynn (officially recorded) and 65 years since Short Oval racing came to Saddlebow road almost to the day – 11th September 1955; local driver 0 Bob Reeve took the meeting final that day – will another local driver take the spoils on this anniversary meeting? Mat Newson (16) will certainly be trying - he does go well around here and Willie Skoyles (541) will be hoping to be in the running; he had a good turn of speed last meeting and some good results to match, his first win isn’t far away!
Last meeting Frankie Wainman (515) turned a potential rubbish night into the complete opposite with an engine malfunction in a early heat race, but turned it around for the meeting final taking a convincing win and strong finish in the Grand National from the lap handicap; Wainman will be looking to take two in a row Saturday. Paul Hines (259) also showing good form and results at the opener; with a second in the final, he will be hoping to go one better Saturday.
They will be joined by fellow Superstar Lee Fairhurst (217) who took a heat victory in a borrowed car in a photo finish to the flag with John Dowson (94) who is also back for more, as is European Champion Craig Finnikin (55) and World Champion Tom Harris (84) who after blowing his engine in a big way will be all out to make up for that.
Mark Sargent (326) took the Grand National win last time out, but should have had a couple more wins for his efforts; he will be looking to make amends this time out; Jake Harrhy (345) capitalised on Sargents demise in the White and Yellows race to take the win, before following Sargent home to second place in the Grand National. Both quick yellow graders that you want to keep an eye on.
In the BriSCA F1’s we welcome back out Saloon Star Barry Russell (560) seemingly enjoying his first F1 outing, a second in the white and yellow outing that night and given more track time with the car he will be challenging up front in no time!
Sam Makim (93), Geoff Nicholls (215), Joe Nickolls (242) and Terry Hawkins (275) are no slouches around the King’s Lynn Shale and definitely ones to keep an eye on as will be Neil Scriven (11), Mal Brown (34), Luke Dennis (192) and George Elwell (501) who make their year debut Saturday and looking to kick it off in good form. Charlie Sworder (5) joins the line up in his season debut, he put his tarmac car to good use on the shale last year, it will be interesting to see how he does in his own designated shale machine
The BriSCA F2 Stock Cars are back out in good numbers once again; almost 60 booked in with some of the Formulas best coming for battle. World Champion Gordon Moodie (7) leads the charge and had a great night here on the 22nd August; a heat win and runner up in the Final and Grand National; expect him to be in contention once again tonight. Dave Polley (38) will be looking to take the challenge to him though; Polley too had a good night; winning the other heat, taking the meeting final win before following that up with a great drive to third in the Grand National.
Jason Cooper (682) also having a good night here last time out with a victory in the Consolation and third in the meeting final, keep an eye on him Saturday. Aaron Patch (188) took the win in the White top race and Richard Haworth (818) won the Grand National last meeting, from their white grade start could take some stopping this time.
Courtney Finnikin (55) won the final here in February and is one of the formulas best on shale, but with a disappointing night here last month, she will be fired up to put that right on Saturday. Ben Chalkley (69) and Tony Blackburn (225) also race winners this year and will be out to take the flag once more on Saturday.
Harley Thackra (9), Charlie Guinchard (183) and Harley Burns (992) have all had wins around the raceways since August and will be eager to transfer that form to the King’s Lynn shale, disappointing night for all three here last month, but don’t rule out these young guns on Saturday.
Andrew Palmer (606), Dave Massey (977) and Michael Lund (995) are always there or thereabouts on the shale and on their day are a match for anyone, likewise with European Champion Stephen Mallinson (788). Expect them to feature well on Saturday. As will white graders Marc Gilbert (43) and Tom Pell (724) who both seem to like the King’s Lynn shaleway too.
A big night of Stock Car action once again at the Adrian Flux Arena; we look forward to seeing you trackside.
