Introduction
Following a wonderful Unlimited Banger Icebreaker, attention turns to the 1500cc version of the competition which takes place at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday (7 February, 12 noon)
There are currently 152 1500cc Bangers booked in spread across 40 teams.

1500cc Banger Icebreaker
Following on from a hugely successful Unlimited Banger Icebreaker a fortnight ago the 1500cc version of this long running competition takes place this Sunday (12 Noon)
As always a big turnout of cars is expected – and with 40 teams currently booked in for action it doesn’t look like many will be disappointed.
Defending champions are Team Grey and Black and they once again have an excellent chance of taking the spoils with 382 Jack Foster Jnr entering a very strong looking team.
The team with the largest representation is Team SHB. This team are always up for a crash and whilst they are unlikely to be troubling the front runners at the head of the Icebreaker points chart they have a very good chance of doing very well in the Icebreaker Entertainers League! 571 Mark Quincey and 633 Lee Haywood have an excellent attitude to their racing and with a strong East Anglian and Northern bias to their team expect SHB to be featuring heavily.
Another set of teams looking to perform well in the Icebreaker Entertainer League will be the Wild Boyz. 43 Nicky Bishops team had a great showing at the Unlimited Banger Icebreaker and with three teams entered for the Icebreaker will prove to be a strong force.
The in form drivers in the 1500cc Bangers have been Team Jackpot with 338 Terry Garrod recently winning the 1500cc Banger Icebreaker for the third consecutive year. Terry has once again joined forces with his brothers in the shape of 337 Ashley and 339 Jack to produce what could well be a title winning Team Jackpot.
830 Lee White’s Team Mates were victorious in the Micro Banger Team Meeting in December and with two strong teams could well be Icebreaker Team Champions come Sunday
With lots more strong teams booked in including the Predators, Mad Mob, Damage Inc, Gremlins, Mad Hatters and Mr Men this year’s 1500cc Banger Icebreaker is looking as exciting as ever!
