Wacky Races
The annual Wacky Races take place at King's Lynn on Monday 6 April where action comes from the 2L Bangers in the commentators cup and a caravan race (caravan race fully booked), the annual appearance of the 4x4 Bangers, Reliant Robins and Junior Bangers.
The annual 2l Banger Commentator’s Cup – sponsored as always by our resident man on the mike Alistair Oxby – is one of the highlights of the 2L Banger season at Lynn. As you all know Alistair puts in an awful lot of effort into the Banger scene at the Norfolk Arena and your support for his annual trophy is very much appreciated by him. As usual this event will feature enhanced prize monies courtesy of the Ox and details of this will be released later. As usual all drives who are booked in to race at least a week before the meeting and have the correct roof colour on their car will receive £10 start money.
Our annual outing for the 4x4 Bangers also takes place at Lynn on Easter Monday. This is another event which has proved to be great fun both for drivers to race in and spectators to watch. We will be paying £50 for all drivers who race at this event and are booked in to race at least one week before the meeting and have the correct roof grade on their 4x4.
