Introduction
Coming up . . . Saturday night Stock Cars and Bangers! The brilliant Micro Bangers; small in size but big in action top the line up with their Micro Banger UK Final, a good grid of cars anticipated for this one. The ever impressive Junior Bangers also on the line up with action also coming from the National Ministox; drivers in these classes are aged 10 to 15, these kids don’t hold back and racing is just as good as their Adult counterparts. Completing the line up are the loud and proud full contact V8 Stock Cars.
Non stop entertainment for all the family - an event not to be missed.
There are 74 Micro Bangers, 37 Junior Bangers, 26 V8 Stock Cars and 28 National MiniStox booked in to race.
This meeting is now fully booked! Drivers if you are booked in and can no longer race, please let us know asap. Drivers wanting to add themselves to the reserve list, may do so by messaging Paul Butler on 07939 580652 please. Drivers turning up without a booking will not be allowed to race.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The drivers entrance gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.

The Micro Bangers UK Championship has now become one of the must do fixtures among the smaller car calendar.
Among the qualifiers are four previous champions, including 99 Ricky Garrod who defends the title tonight. Ricky has had some top results over the course of the year and will be hoping he can successfully defend the title tonight. One of his main challengers comes from his own family. 337 Ashley Garrod is a two time winner of the event and will be looking to set the record of title wins becoming the only driver to win three times. 757 Callum Gill is rarely seen here at the Adrian Flux Arena these days, with his new venture in the BRISCA F1 Stock Cars, but the Micro Bangers have still appealed to him where he has had a lot of success. He’ll be looking to take the title this evening. 511 Jack Licquorice has had a top season in the Micro Bangers so far, and sees him climb to the red grade. Jack will looking to continue that momentum. 621 Ryan Hawes, 707 Jack Lilley and 595 Drew Burdett are all final winners in the Micro Bangers this year, and could easily take victory here tonight. 830 Lee White will be looking to add a title back to his roof after recently losing the 2L shale world final.
37 Dave Lewis will be one to watch in the last chance race; having previously taken the runner up spot on two occasions, Dave will be hoping he can book his spot on the grid and finally go one better. 322 Tom Fox is a previous event winner, and it’s great to see him back in a banger recently having also competed at the Pre 80 event last week. Tom certainly has the capabilities to book his spot on the main grid. 312 Brad White is another top pilot to look out for, whilst 9 Ben and 119 Davey Cox will be looking to make their way on to the grid to do battle with their rivals.
107 Taylor Pratchett still heads the entertainer points chart and will be looking to ruffle the feathers of those among the front runners. 51 James Licquorice has featured among the top three of the entertainer points back to back for the past four seasons. He currently sits fourth and will be getting stuck in to try and gain some more valuable points whilst potentially helping brother 511 Jack and running mate 212 Jack Maryon. 115 Joe Bull was on top form last time out and will be a great watch. 71 James Unwin will be looking to upset some people. 265 Karl Gant is more known for his crashing exploits than his racing. He was a DD winner last time out and will be getting stuck in to the action.
A top looking line up throughout, with currently 75 cars booked in. It should be a top night of Micro Banger mayhem.
The Junior Bangers join the line up, in good numbers as is consistently the case for 2022. Liam Waterfall (291) is the highest rankest racer on Saturday, the lone Superstar on the grid, but he’ll be joined by Star grade Riley Marsh (701) towards the back. These two will have their work cut out as they try and make their way through the field. Harry Andrews (10) is the points leader however, a final winner this year and going very well around the King’s Lynn shale, one to watch Saturday. Riley Holmes (190) drops to blue and could be one to keep an eye on. Lexi Finney (455) had a good night at Skegness during the week, picking up a couple of race wins, she will be looking to keep that momentum going. Reggie Turnbull (19) is always there or thereabouts and maybe able to get that first win around in King’s Lynn in 2022. George Childs (23) similarly is always there or thereabouts, he too will be searching out an elusive race win. Perry Williamson (8) racked up a win here last time and followed that up with a good result in the feature final too, the number 8 machine is definitely growing in confidence.
Loud and proud - the V8 Stock Cars make their second appearance of the year and are looking to turn up in good numbers racing for the Jon Cottrill Memorial. A strong line up of Reds and Superstars led by World Champion Steve Thompson (1) who will be looking to improve on the second places he had earlier this year around King’s Lynn. Jon Brown (288) was a heat and final winner here in March and has strong shale form to replicate that again on Saturday. Rudi Coleano (77) took the other race win that day and whilst may find the going harder today from red, he’ll be giving it a good go. Craig Thompson (490) has found a rich vein of form, taking 3 from 4 at Skegness recently. Paul Prest (491) moves back into V8’s whilst awaiting repairs to his F1. Darren Cottrill (575) can never be discounted on shale and racing for his Dad’s memorial we’re sure he will be featuring heavily in the action. Richard Smith (344) had a good day at Northampton a couple of weeks ago and could be up there battling for the chequered flag, whilst Declan Gwin (551) is a quick driver off of yellow and can’t be discounted. Ian Lewis (193) had a good day in the V8s at Skegness, but shale is a different ball game, certainly one to keep and eye on. As is Richard Brighton (329) who has been getting good results wherever he races.
If all that wasn’t enough the National Ministox will be on track, with high 20’s anticipated. Sam Crtichley (64) and Kasey Jones (186) will likely be the front runners, but keep an eye on Finn Hunter-Johnson (120) and Alfie Smith (642) too. Brooke Kitson (732) was your meeting final winner earlier this year and should still feature well. Freddie Rogers (269) was your meeting final winner last time here and again will be another to feature well we’re sure. Jamie Hanson (611) picked up a race win here at the start of July and good results the rest of the night, Jack Powley (21) coming home third in the meeting final was a good result, he plus, Tom Earl (77), Jake Woodhull (335) and Boden Murfin (425) also picks of the bunch to keep an eye on.
A great night of motorised entertainment this Saturday. . . it's Bangers and Crash, we hope to see you there.
