Introduction

We roll back the years this Saturday with a bit of nostalgia, an Old School Bangers themed night featuring Bluebirds, Primeras, Cavaliers, Calibras, Corollas, Carinas and the like and Almeras and Sunnys will be the main tool to have in the Unders, with the odd other age related car too. Unlimited Lady Bangers will take to the track for a blast around the King’s Lynn shale; they were great entertainment last time here, the awesome 1300 Stock Cars complete the line up; all action, brutal Stock Car racing.

Races will see pile ups, cars roll over, big wrecks - you name it as Europe's most entertaining form of motorsport will deliver more crashes and overtaking on one lap than an F1 Grand Prix will deliver all race! The day ends with the famous Destruction Derby where there can only be one winner - and that will be the last car which can move under its own power after obliterating the opposition!

Non stop entertainment for all the family - an event not to be missed.

There are 32 Bluebird/Primera/Cavalier/Carina’s, 39 Almera/Sunny Bangers, 37 1300 Stock Cars and 21 Unlimited Lady Bangers booked to race.

Drivers if you are booked in and can no longer race, please let us know asap. Drivers wanting to book themselves, may do so by messaging Paul Butler on 07939 580652 please! Lady Banger drivers, please use this link here to book in. Drivers turning up without a booking will not be allowed to race.

The pit gate will open for competitors at 10am, the gates for ticket holders will open at 11am. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The drivers entrance gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.

The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.

A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.

We hope your enjoy your afternoon with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

Not one but two classes of full contact Bangers are in All Almera & Sunny Bangers plus All Bluebird / Primera / Cavalier / Calibra & Carina Bangers, with car eligibility opened also to allow some age related bits of bilge on track too.

All Bluebird / Primera / Cavalier / Calibra & Carina Bangers, the cars that took on the 2L Banger scene before the Mondeo arrived, around mid-30’s of them scheduled at the time of writing. Lot’s of bent and snapped cars coming up hopefully! Max Stott (57) will be one to watch and likely challenging for top honours from the back of the grid, he will be pushed though by Phil Smith (549) who also knows a quick way around the Lynn circuit too. Brad Bartram (69) is on form lately, finding himself up grade to red, he could be there for thereabouts, as could Wes Freestone (340) and Simon Smith (589).

John Wibberley (252) took home a very bent motor last year and will be likely to get stuck in again this year. Good luck to Trackstar marshall Paul Vines (639) out on track for the second time in the space of about a month after his 4X4 Banger outing.  Long distance travellers Red Nelson (347) and Danny Everett (617) will likely spice things up too!

It’s a busy day for Taylor Pratchett (107) and Kieran Bowman (178), both are looking to compete in the two Banger classes, the pair do most Banger classes at our meetings, which is some great commitment, Pratchett is taking on the Entertainer’s league and is out in front currently. Bowman though knows, as defending Entertainer League champ, what is required and might not be far off at the end of the year, good luck both.

In the Almera/ Sunny class, expect a couple of Escorts and Orion’s thrown in for good measure too. Craig Royal (478) is the highest graded driver on track and could well be in amongst the results today. Welcome back to David Gibson (390) and Jonny Atkins (399) who will be back at home in this class, flying the flag for the Mad Hatters, they sure are quick drivers, but equally, they could be well up for a crash! Joined by regular Mad Hatter driver Joe Geeves (611) it will be good to see the Mad Hatters out in numbers. Ady Groome (776) is another making a rare outing, always an entertaining driver and likely looking to be getting stuck in. Wayne Bailey (149), Mikey Mylett (206) and Mitchell Bailey (249) will be another trio of drivers looking to get in amongst the action and will be ones to watch.

The 1300 Stock Cars line up, with good numbers of them anticipated. Jacob Bromley (303) will be starting favourite, he found some speed last time here with a win in the feature final, expect the 303 machine to be up there once again. Tom Fox (322) and Jordan Godfrey (144) were race winners here last time too and looking to keep that form going. Todd Payne (149) had been on a roll with results lately, until he nearly did roll here last time, he will be hoping for the results this time round. Carl Waterfield (600) also finding some good form, he will be wanting to go one better after finishing second in the final to Bromley last time. Riley Shinn (401) made a good start to his adult racing career on his debut last time and will be sure one to watch when he gets upto speed. Keep an eye on Wayne Shinn (60) getting on track in a 1300 Stock Car as opposed to a banger.

Unlimited Lady Bangers are here a couple of times this year, they returned to King’s Lynn last September and produced some good numbers on track and racing; they’re back for more! Around 20 of them so far booked. Danielle Ellis (85) will be starting one of the favourites, along with Laura Quadling (419), both should feature well in the results. Lady Banger “veteran” Caroline Garner (74)  could be another who will be mixing at the top end, very capable of taking the chequered flag! Anna Pigott (257) took a race win last September in a Kieran Bowman car, how will she get on Saturday? Codie Reeves (488) finished a third place in the meeting final last time and will be hoping to go a couple of better! Good luck ladies!
