Introduction
Coming up this Saturday, the 2L Bangers Teams action – War of the Worlds! They are savage and were in brutal form at the May Day Bank Holiday meeting, another great session of 2L Banger action lined up this Saturday. Also racing are the immensely entertaining Junior Bangers – the youngsters have been superb to watch at King’s Lynn this year, a big grid of cars anticipated once again with over 45 at the time of writing. The all action 1300cc Stock Cars complete the line up, the bumpers will be going in, they do not hold back!
The event last year raising awareness for Men’s Mental health and the two War of the World events this year will do the same again. Raising awareness and money in July for CALM, with this meeting primarily to get awareness out there and people talking.
Races will see pile ups, cars roll over, big wrecks - you name it as Europe's most entertaining form of motorsport will deliver more crashes and overtaking on one lap than an F1 Grand Prix will deliver all race! The day ends with the famous Destruction Derby where there can only be one winner - and that will be the last car which can move under its own power after obliterating the opposition!
Non stop entertainment for all the family - an event not to be missed.
There are 71 2L Bangers (13 teams), 35 1300 Stock Cars and 48 Junior Bangers booked to race.
Drivers if you are booked in and can no longer race, please let us know asap. Drivers wanting to book themselves, may do so by messaging Paul Butler on 07939 580652 please. Drivers turning up without a booking will not be allowed to race.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The drivers entrance gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.
The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.
A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.
We hope your enjoy your afternoon with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

The 2L Bangers have been in great form at the two meeting’s we’ve seen from them and the ingredients are there for more of the same today. Around 70 of them booked in at the time of writing it’s going to be good – individual competition is brutal enough, without throwing in a teams contest! There will be two points charts and two awards on offer; the traditional points title, where points will be awarded to the top three to finish each race. Then also the Entertainers league; points awarded for crashing! A hotly contested session and one we’re sure you will enjoy.
The line up in the Bangers is a real who’s who of the 2L Banger World with some of the best 2L Banger pilots coming along for the action. The long distance Crashzone side, the team are becoming somewhat King’s Lynn regulars, and they don’t mind getting stuck in when they have to. The Dover Boys are well versed in Team battles, fielding a side this time that is quite capable of a crash; keep an eye on James Licquorice (51) and Jordan Sharpe (828) for that and John Reeves (188) and Ashley Garrod (337) in the mix for the races. The Gladiators need no introduction and well established amongst Team competition; the year long Entertainer leader Taylor Pratchett (107) the one to watch from this side, although all will happily get stuck in. The Mainline Munchers side is certainly one of the hot favourites for the Entertainers league, any one of them capable of putting the big hits about. Matt Black puts together two sides of drivers; most typically run individually however today are put together and it will be interesting to see how they get on; Fabien Leathers-Ashley (808) and Jack Rookard (910) ones to watch from a crashing perspective in the A side, whilst Karl Douglas (552) and Mark Cross (687) will be looking to collect the points. In the B team version; Connor Byram (32) was certainly getting stuck in last time out in the old skool 1500s; whilst Jon cooper (603) normally seen in Aftermath colours will be bringing a wealth of Team knowledge and expertise to the side. The Outsiders might be a good outside bet for some silverware today, capable wreckers and racers; keep an eye on Dean Cruickshanks (73) and Shady Gough (199) from this line up. Moving on to the Predators and regular racers will know what they are capable of, even more so in the 2L Bangers probably their favoured weapon of choice; Kieran Bowman (178) will lead the side, whilst Lee Middleton (519) is one of the quickest 2L Banger pilots, however, does love a crash when the mood takes him too. The Midlands based Scrapyard Screamers will be showing what they can do, they do typically like to get stuck in; Archie Cullum (132) will be one to watch, as will Devon Usher (610) making a very rare appearance at King’s Lynn. The Shunters will line up with a few short of a full side, but what they lack in numbers will certainly be made up for in on track aggression. Team Mates are usually one of the favourites for the points title of any team competition they enter and likely the same again today, World Champion Lee White (830) will lead the team however Mac Bell (28) and Aaron Nelson (669) might be in the hunt for a crash or two instead. You can’t have a 2L Banger Team meeting without TMT and they bring along two sides for combat, the grey and blue cars do not hold back and team front man Ricky Hutton (623) will be leading them in to battle, with a couple of different names guesting for the side including former World Champion Jordan Cummings (570) and Joey Reynolds (760) it will be interesting to see how they get on.
1300 Stock Cars also are having a superb year; lots of cars, great action and highly competitive racing. There isn’t a standout driver in the class and the winning seems to be shared amongst a number of drivers. High-30s are currently booked in; the fence will rattle, metal will clatter; sparks will fly. We do enjoy having the 1300’s race with us… if you’ve not seen them before, you will soon see why we enjoy them!
Last time here the 1300’s were in great form, as usual. John Riley (14) took the opening race, specifically for the white graders. Sonny Wright (13) having a great night, a third in his heat race before rounding out the Final battling for the win with eventual winner Ed Selby (244), Wright having to settle for second just couldn’t shift Selby at the finish. Jacob Bromley (303) took heat 2, following that up with a third in the feature final; John Moat (673) put in a sterling drive to take the last heat with a very well deserved win. Four races, four different race winners!
Bromley leads the points charge and will be looking to cement the National Points lead further; holding a small lead over Todd Payne (149) in second place, who is equally capable of good results from the back of the grid. Jake Banwell (391) will be another to keep an eye on, he struggled for results last time out, but when his car is dialled in, he’s one of the top drivers. A great night from the class last time and more of the same on Saturday and another highly competitive night of racing coming up.
Completing the line up are the Junior Bangers, for racers 11 to 15 years old, boys compete with the girls and the girls aren’t afraid of taking them on either! Without a standout performer amongst them, the winning is shared around and it’s great to see. The Juniors seem to be excelling here currently with over 45 booked in and a full heats and Final qualification format pencilled. The Juniors don’t hold back, fast, frantic, chaotic, competitive. So many ways to describe the Juniors, they’re setting the bar high for the future where hopefully they go on to race more on the ovals.
Harvey Webb (622) and Riley Marsh (701) have been having some excellent battles are arguably the top drivers at the moment - although Liam Waterfall (291) will disagree and will happily give them a run for their money! Marsh fairing slightly better than Webb last time here, how will they get on Saturday? With Riley Holmes (190) also out and improving on every outing, the competition is only going to be tougher. The red grade is also strengthened tonight by Mikey Whitehall (74) who finds himself up to the Star grade following his final win in April. At blue, Malakie Cullum (133) and Lexi Finney (455) are climbing the grades now following an upturn in their form. George Childs (23) will line up with them as will Kaelan Blakeman (920) upgraded tonight after taking the silver medal in the Easter Saturday final, joined by handy racer Levi Murkin (609) the blue grade could prove a tough battle ground. Reagan Flatters (515) and Jack Wright (996) picked up a race win each on Easter weekend, how will they get on Saturday? They will be there or thereabouts for sure! Whilst up front in the whites Lee Macey (78) and Jade Ellis (85) are very capable racers and likely to be in the mix. Morgan Bailey (478) improves on every outing and it won’t be long before he’s right up there. Rylee Taylor (517) was a double race winner at the start of April and will be searching out for that form once again.
What a night we have lined up, we're looking forward to welcoming you there. See you trackside.

Mental Health Awareness
We know that raising awareness of Mental Health isn’t just limited to one week; Mental Health is so important, particularly amongst men who often remain silent. Suffering in silence. The Banger/ Stock Car racing community is predominately male orientated and has sadly suffered it’s share of tragedy.
We hope to use two race meetings to raise awareness and money for charity, but most importantly aim to get men talking.
Sat 28th May –5pm - 2L Banger War of the Worlds, Junior Bangers & 1300 Stock Cars - Raising awareness for Mens Mental Health
Sat 2nd July – 5pm - Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds Teams & F1 Stock Car Racing - Raising funds and awareness for Mens Mental Health for CALM
