We are very much looking to a great night of action on Saturday with four formulas of great Banger and Stock Car action!! All formulas look good on paper with 49 1300 stock cars in action which will be eager to put on a good show as they get set for a massive August with their world final and European on back to back weekends, and top boys like Jacob Bromley and Jimmy Morris will be on the charge to seal at least one of those crowns, and with the European taking place on a great weekend of action over the 9th and 10th of August here, we will look to see if we get and signs as to which way those titles will go on Saturday.  The Junior Bangers also join us for another lively session of action, they are fully booked and ready to go and I’m sure we will have another entertaining session from the future stars.

The Micro Bangers are back with the next of their qualifying rounds for the Micro Banger UK Championship with another good field of drivers taking centre stage in the smallest class of national bangers.  It’s great to see some Scottish drivers make the trip down for the race, with 69 Scott Smith and 74 Jamie Sangster making the trip down to be with us, Jamie a driver who does try to join us as often as he can and his support is always very much appreciated, his running mate for today Scott Smith is a driver who knows his way around the Scottish tracks very well, and can certainly be as quick as they come.  Good mates 51 The Duck and 372 James Cable will no doubt be out to put on a great display with plenty of crashing, that is normally the case for the pair.  The Duck will be looking to extend his very healthy lead at the top of the entertainer league, whilst James is having a very impressive season indeed.  167 Dylan Ling and the highly entertaining 335 Lee White will look to get amongst it once again, and their running rivalry with 28 Mac Bell and 830 Lee White has certainly been a good watch so far this season.  515 Regan Flatters makes his national banger debut, and he will definitely be one too watch, if he takes after his dad he could be a real handful to deal with, and I expect him to have a very impressive night.  41 Thomas Dye has been brilliant value so far this season, and he is a great addition to this Micro Banger domestic meeting, 869 Jamie Steele who is the current Micro Banger UK Champion will be looking to rack up another good points haul as his title defence gets ever closer.  117 Lee Reynolds, 340 Wesley Freestone and 428 Nick Ashbridge are normally drivers who love a good crash, and Nick Ashbridge is having an incredible season so far with some superb displays in the entertainers league, and looks set for a strong result come the end of the season in that.  337 Pretty Boy Ashley Garrod will look to get some more points as he will look to strengthen his position at the top of the national points.  190 Ben Germany and 699 Aaron Nelson both had impressive performances last time out in the micros, and they’ll look to keep pressing the issue on and cement their place in the Micro Uk Championship later in the year.  66 Shane Norley is another who falls into that category, and the same can be said for 93 Lewis Godfrey who is definitely looking good for a solid result in the micro qualifying rounds.

The 1600cc East Anglian Teams looks set to be a cracker on Saturday night with double figure teams going into battle to see who comes out as the 1600cc Banger East Anglian Team Championship.  Deano Mayes leads THP7 into battle this weekend with two stella line ups, 12 Troy, 30 Bubba, 379 Brendan and 730 Deano will start as one of the meeting favourites, however the B team is just as strong with 51 The Duck probably leading them into a battle for the entertainer league with 69 Brado, 525 Frank and 621 Jamie in with a good chance of challenging for either title.  Team Orange is a good young side who will have something to say about it, 624 Cam leads a good side into battle with 349 Copland as quick as they come, 248 Blything one of our quickest youngsters and 556 Matty Boy another who has a good turn of speed.  The Mafia are two teams strong, and one certainly catches the eye with the very quick pairing of 275 Joel Bond and 337 Ash Garrod joined by top talent 423 Luke Battern and the quick young Scotsman 74 Jamie Sangster.  The Mafia B team looks set to be out to entertain with the likes of 27 Adam Pearce, 232 Levi James and 961 Harry Brooks all happy to pitch in and enjoy a crash, 418 Ben Chapman completes the the team on his track debut.  829 Snapchat Jay Sharpe leads a strong side into battle, and he will be out for a good crash.  Blue and Black will look to add some quality to proceedings, and grab some more titles along the way, they have been one of the most dominant teams over the years.  Team Cruncher will certainly be quick with captain 9 Ben Cox joined by the very rapid 566 Tony Pallett and two drivers who enjoy mixing it up in 19 Reggie Turnbull and 356 Sam Hildon, both ultra quick and they look set for a strong showing.  The Lab will be in the thick of things, they absolutely love a good crash.  Team DFA are very good contenders on both fronts.  The lively Giddings brothers who can be ruthless on their day, can also be very quick, and joined by regular running mate 512 Kieron Rowe, they will be bang up for this.  Rowe will certainly be looking to mount some strong points.  Joining forces with them is 428 Nick Ashbridge for the day, and he will be looking to put on a good show like usual.  Team Cookie will look to get stuck in and enjoy the meeting with 666 Dale Cook and 667 Reece Lennox enjoying a good crash.  Another team to look out for is Team Alfie Murkin, with the lively duo of 305 Alfie Cornish and 644 Alfie Sime joined by brothers 608 Lenny and 609 Levi.  This team really should be one too watch with some quality displays from all of them here in recent times, together they could be the ultimate force, and for me go into this as one of the teams who could go very well in this, and we look forward to seeing both the Murkin boys out on track together at the same time, and see how the meeting goes for them.

Well what a meeting we have in store on Saturday, domestic meetings here often deliver, and we’re all very excited about this one.  It certainly has all the right ingredients to be a great night.  So what are you waiting for?  Get those all important advanced tickets online and come and join us on Saturday night.

All The Best and hopefully See you soon Saturday
