Coming up this Saturday – we have a great meeting in prospect- the biggest Unlimited Banger race on Shale – racing for the prestigious World of Shale Championship. The biggest Stars of Banger Racing, the biggest Cars, the biggest hits! At the time of writing over 110 cars currently scheduled with over 30 Junior Bangers racing in cars older than them – older than 1995. What a night we have coming up. First race from 5pm.
The Big.... The Bad.... and The Ugly!
It really doesn't get bigger than what we have at King's Lynn on Saturday 6 September (5pm) featuring the Unlimited Bangers Lowman Race Engines World of Shale Championship and Junior Bangers in Pre'95 cars.
Unlimited Bangers feature the biggest stars in the biggest cars producing the biggest crashes in the World of National Banger Racing. Drivers will be competing to see who can wear the coveted double gold stripes on the roof of their car as they contest the biggest race of the year on loose surfaced tracks - the World of Shale.
Make sure you are there early and pick up a free autograph book and get it signed by all of the World of Shale Finalists who will be waiting to meet you as you enter the arena. Last year's race was one of the best and destructive championship races ever with over 50 drivers having started. The whole meeting was an incredible night of big banger action although that looks like being eclipsed with the 2025 session as we have a big entry which is jam packed full of the highest quality names from the World of Bangers! The meeting will then end with a Destruction Derby which sees the chequered flag fall on the last car which can move under its own steam!
Action also comes from the kids, and they don't hold back as the Junior Bangers are back in action. After the success of the 2024 event, they will be back in older machines as the kids get the run out in cars that fall in to a Pre-1995 category…cars older than them!
Our thanks go to Rob Lowman of Lowman Racing Engines for his generous sponsorship once again of the World of Shale Championship – four years Rob has partnered this race and it’s fantastic to have him on board again. Find his page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LowmanRacingEngines
