It's day 1 of our awesome Easter weekend! The Easter Weekend starts with an unmissable meeting at King's Lynn featuring the very best that the world of Stock Car and Banger Racing has to offer! The biggest and baddest in the world of National Bangers will be in action with the Unlimited Banger East Anglian Championship headlining the bill. The title is one of the longest in the sport having first taken place back in 1991. The Saloon Stock Cars are back in town; off the back of a fantastic Season opener here a month ago, they are all out to impress, the metal will clatter and the fence will rattle. Also racing are the action packed Junior Bangers… don’t be fooled, these kids don’t hold back! There are 76 Unlimited Bangers, 33 Saloon Stock Cars and 47 Junior Bangers booked to race, first race on track 5pm.

Saturday night we see the return of the Unlimited Bangers and once again to open up for them over a busy Easter weekend in the East Anglian Championship!! Currently 209 Tombo Tom Waller has a strong grip on the championship with an incredible three year winning streak on a title that is very popular on the Unlimited Banger scene. He seems to find a totally different level when it comes to the Easter Saturday Championship, and he will start as a short priced favourite once again to go home with the major honours. Currently just over 70 Bangers are booked in for Easter Saturday with plenty of recognisable faces taking part and looking to add their name to the famous trophy come Easter Saturday. 639 a former World Of Shale Champion and 570 Jordan Cumming are two that will certainly lead the line, 570 Dino Jnr the current 2 Litre Banger Champion Of The World with us here at Trackstar is almost definitely a driver to keep on the right side of on Saturday, he will be quick from the back, and whilst not yet winning a major unlimited honour with us yet, he has taken home the 2 Litre World Championship on two occasions, and he will come here brimming with confidence, and will no doubt be a strong contender to grab some trophies on the night. 639 Tye Williams has become prolific when it comes to winning titles in recent times, and no doubt he will be gunning for more glory on Saturday. Tye has been one of the most progressive drivers up and down the country in recent months, and no doubt will be making his way through the pack quicker than most come Saturday. He certainly knows how to pilot a car round here, and seems to have a great knack of being able to get round the corners with minimal fuss, and carries his speed into and out of the bends very well indeed.
556 Matt Tillow has had a flawless start to the campaign here at Trackstar with some high class performances, he has reminded us all of how good a driver he is and has now been put up to blue after the start to the season he has had. Matt hasn’t showed any signs of stopping either with some great drives in Micros, 1600’s and the Unlimited Bangers, and will go into this full of confidence and I’m sure will have a great chance of grabbing some strong results throughout the night. It’s great to see plenty of talented drivers back with us on Saturday, the likes of 23 Sonny Parsons and 84 Will Cole get back at it, with both drivers on course for a spot in the World Of Shale later on in the year in September. 84 Cole currently going very well in the Entertainer league, and he will look to once again be bang at it and get some strong points on the board. Will has been brilliant in the early qualifying rounds of the world of shale, and will no doubt be able to add a good haul of points to his collection again on Saturday night. It’s great to see the likes of 266 Big Al Roskell back with us on Saturday after a couple of years away with other commitments. Another young man who is currently going from strength to strength is 920 Rhys Medley, he has had some very good and entertaining displays and also some good wins along the way in the current campaign, and will almost definitely be booking himself a spot in the World Of Shale come September, and it will be great to see his progress throughout the 2026 campaign, and one suspects it could be a decent and breakthrough season for the local young man, and he is one to certainly keep an eye on. 257 Harvey Barrow has had a win in the current qualifying campaign, and I have no doubt that he will throw down a strong challenge to the rest on Saturday for a win or two.
Action could further come from the Aftermath young gun pairing of 707 Alfie Nottingham and 750 Rhys Parrin, the one two from the 2025 Unlimited Entertainer League are back together for the first time here in 2026, and when they’re together there is always action to keep an eye on. 51 James Licquorice is the current leader of the entertainer league, and as the defending champion he is already off to a good start with his defence of his crown, and you wouldn’t write him off of defending the crown. He has had a good start to the campaign again, and no doubt he will look to get stuck in to something on Saturday night. 743 Kavan Barton is back in action, and it’s good to see him back and doing well, 644 Alfie Sime is a driver who is also one to keep an eye on with plenty of devastating displays, and is one who does very well within the entertainer league here with us. 362 Johnny James will be one who will have a strong say in who ends up with the East Anglian Championship, he is a very quick driver indeed, and one who needs close attention to when it comes to a winner of things on Saturday. It’s great to have a good number of Dutch drivers with us on Saturday, and the six of them will add plenty to the mix. 678 Ryan Kisterman is a driver who is highly talented and will no doubt love the shale round here, a driver who has plenty of honours to his name back in Holland, and a driver who is a constant performer out in Emmen, 178 Ruud Van Kuijk and 508 Bart Douma are highly entertaining drivers, and 402 Wesley Spijker has shown plenty of ability round Emmen. 16 Roel Troost and 87 Tommie Adams round out the 6 long distance visitors, all of which will be looking to enjoy their night with us, and will no doubt have a good time of things with us and hopefully take home a trophy or two amongst them on Saturday, and it would then be great to have them back further down the line for the world of shale. The White and Yellow Championship is always a race to keep an eye on, and that will open the show for the Unlimited Bangers on Saturday, and whilst normally a race in which the lower graders really do go for as they want to claim some honours, it can definitely end up being one of the races of the night. On the crashing front, keep an eye out for your drivers who are towards the top of the entertainer league as they will be going for a crash to keep on top of their points tally’s.
The Saloons Stock Cars join us for their second meeting in 2026; topping the line up are a number of champions including World Champion and King’s Lynn track champion Ryan Santry (389) who usually picks up some good results around King’s Lynn, British Champion Luke Dorling (120) will be looking to mount a challenge. Billy Smith (161) had a good opening night 28th February winning the feature final race and will be looking to follow that up on Saturday. Other drivers to keep an eye on will be Rowan Venni (370) and Austen Freestone (341) who both go very well around King’s Lynn. Kieran Bowman (178) another driver to keep an eye on, the former Banger driver knows the fast way around King’s Lynn. We welcome 38 Barry Glenn and 124 Drew Mathieson who join us from North of the Border and G153 Nick Anterwerpen travels from across the Sea and Mainland Europe, the former World Cup Champion enjoys his visits here.
Joining the line up on Saturday night will be the Junior Bangers, and they will be lead into battle by 08 Taylor Morton who is the current national points champion, he is still progressing at a rate of knots, and his ability to keep the car moving has been nothing short of impressive in recent times, and he will no doubt be looking for another good points haul on Saturday with some big performances. We have had plenty of drivers come of age in recent times, but with that we have had our next influx of junior drivers come through the ranks, and it was good to see the likes of 411 Freddy Fowler, 72 Kaison Harper, 79 William Eve, 10 Logan Wick and 799 Dylan Rees all have a good go at things last time out, some of whom getting very good results indeed. 850 Wesley Parrin was back to his usual self last time out, he never seems to impressed when the wheels are pointed in a straight line, so tends to rollover or pick on a tyre to almost get the car crabbing along, and then he tends to come into his own and you can then see that he starts driving with a big smile on his face, and he is very entertaining to watch as he navigates the oval in a car that most adults would pull off in. 57 Swaley Douglas continues to go very well out there, and despite his young age, he has developed into quite a handy little driver, and is often seen getting good results. 478 Beast Jnr and 570 Spencer join us again and we will see if they can get some positive results between them. 113 Beau Jeanes joins us for the first time this season, and he is often a driver who picks up very good results around here. 730 Leo Mayes is another driver who is going well at the moment, and picking up some good points along the way. No doubt the juniors will be in great from come Saturday night.
Enjoy the night
Matt
