Coming up this Saturday – we have a great meeting in prospect- the biggest Unlimited Banger race on Shale – racing for the prestigious World of Shale Championship, sponsored by Lowman Racing Engines. The biggest Stars of Banger Racing, the biggest Cars, the biggest hits! Plus, Junior Bangers racing in cars older than them – older than 1995. What a night we have coming up. There are 115 Unlimited Bangers and 38 Pre95 Junior Bangers booked in to race. First race from 5pm.
It's Unlimited Banger World of Shale Championship time...
It simply doesn’t get much bigger than this! King’s Lynn is gearing up for one of the biggest nights of the season, with the Unlimited Bangers taking centre stage for the prestigious Lowman Race Engines World of Shale Championship, alongside the Junior Bangers competing in their fantastic Pre’95 machinery.
The Unlimited Bangers bring together the biggest stars, the biggest cars and the biggest crashes in National Banger Racing. These heavyweight machines will battle it out on the King’s Lynn shale for one of the sport’s most sought-after prizes – the World of Shale Championship.
The winner will earn the right to proudly display the coveted double gold stripes on their car, but getting there certainly won’t be easy. With the very best Unlimited Banger drivers going head-to-head in the biggest race of the year on the loose-surfaced tracks, expect huge cars, massive hits, plenty of wreckage and a World Championship battle where absolutely anything can happen!
Make sure you are there early and pick up a free autograph book and get it signed by all of the World of Shale Finalists who will be waiting to meet you as you enter the arena. Last year's race was one of the best and destructive championship races ever with over 50 drivers having started. The whole meeting was an incredible night of big banger action although that looks like being eclipsed with the 2025 session as we have a big entry which is jam packed full of the highest quality names from the World of Bangers! The meeting will then end with a Destruction Derby which sees the chequered flag fall on the last car which can move under its own steam!
Action also comes from the kids, and they don't hold back as the Junior Bangers are back in action. After the success of the last few years events, they will be back in older machines as the kids get the run out in cars that fall in to a Pre-1995 category…cars older than them!
Our thanks go to Rob Lowman of Lowman Racing Engines for his generous sponsorship once again of the World of Shale Championship – four years Rob has partnered this race and it’s fantastic to have him on board again. Find his page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LowmanRacingEngines
