Coming up soon at King's Lynn . . . Saturday night Stock Cars and Bangers in Micro Mayhem! The brilliant Micro Bangers; small in size but big in action top the line up with their UK Final. The ever impressive Junior Bangers- Trackstar licences only- also on the line up – these kids don’t hold back, with action also coming from the always good to watch 1400 Stock Cars, off the back of a brilliant and high impact World Final weekend a few weeks ago and the fast and furious 1600cc Bangers; a fantastic evening of Saturday night action coming up! There are 67 Micro Bangers, 22 1600cc Bangers, 41 1400 Stock Cars and 31 Junior Bangers booked to race. Please note the first race will now be 4.40pm.
Get ready for a huge evening of motorised mayhem as Micro Mayhem returns to the Adrian Flux Arena this Saturday, with around 160 cars currently booked across four action-packed formulas. Headlining the night are the brilliant Micro Bangers racing for the Micro Banger UK Open Championship, joined by the fast and furious 1600cc Bangers, the ever-entertaining Junior Bangers, and the hard-hitting 1400cc Stock Cars. Small cars, big crashes, packed grids and non-stop oval action promise another unforgettable night of racing at King’s Lynn…make sure you’re trackside for this one.
The Micro Banger title race is wide open, any number of drivers could take the title, and a few could upset the apple cart, 331 Mackenzie Whitehead defends the title and will face stiff competition to retain. 830 Lee White can never be discounted in the big races, 869 Jamie Steele could be a dark horse for the title as a previous winner, should luck fall his way too. 69 Brad Bartram is rapid around King's Lynn and will likely be up there at the end. 93 Lewis Godfrey likes to get stuck in, however he was the top points qualifier for this so might have his sights on a win rather than wrecking. 556 Lincoln Douglas has been one of the top drivers in the smaller cars since progressing from the Junior Bangers and could be one to watch here. 644 Alfie Sime, 372 James Cables and 622 Stu Davis all finished high up the entertainer league and might be looking to go crashing once again; the UK Final is certainly going to be an interesting race to watch.
It's a double header of National Banger action with the 1600cc National Bangers on the line up. The 1600’s look set to have a good night in front of them with plenty of top names out in action. The likes of 551 Brett Jackson joins us as he looks to push to be points champion. The Murkins are back with us and can never be discounted 608 Lenny and Levy 609 certainly know the fast way around the King's Lynn oval. 79 Ricky Twell returns for another 1600 outing; it’s good to have the fan favourite back with us. Likewise 227 Reilly Hope, 238 Ryleigh Christmas and 428 Nick Ashbridge who aren’t shy of getting in amongst the action. The 1600’s look set to have a good night in front of them with plenty of top names out in action.
The 1400 Stock Cars are back with us for the first time since their fantastic World Championship weekend. Often considered one of the top classes to watch and we will soon see why, fence rattling action, metal clattering - watch the sparks fly. World Champion 1 Jimmy Morris will lead the charge proudly showing off his new all-gold livery following the title win last month. He will be pushed hard for the chequered flag with some of the top shale racers booked for battle; keep a watch for Points champion 303 Jacob Bromley; along with 304 Tony Elbourn and 368 Charlie Santry; all have strong form around King’s Lynn. A healthy list of lower graders will be out to make the going tough for the top drivers and a number of drivers will be keen to make an impression; keep an eye on 41 Daniel Maltby, 382 Joe Bamford and 512 Shannon Barnett as top picks for results around the King's Lynn oval.
The Junior Bangers also return this weekend with plenty of strong drivers out on the grid, 08 Taylor Morton will be proudly showing off his silver roof, and he will have plenty to do from back there, however his driving style has led him to be able to work his way through late on in races and certainly can't be discounted. 479 Elliott Royal will be one to watch; he is having a steady season with us and had a race win at the start of August here. 257 Jenson Fish was a double race winner too that night with 850 Wes Parrin winning the feature final; 113 Beau Jeanes finished second and 4 William Myatt brought it home in third. All are back in action Saturday and will be hoping the form book is in their favour.
