TSR Bangers 2026- licences and race dates Returning this season, we will be reintroducing the TSR Banger class to King's Lynn for 4 race dates; with the aim of getting drivers back on track to have some fun. With the amount of early interest in the class we are looking forward to seeing them back on track this year. We are pleased to confirm further details below. Licences – Drivers will need to take out a licence of £50 which will cover them for all 4 meetings; this will entitle them to driver plus 1 entry. A £25 pay to race fee each meeting will also be applicable. The licence form can be completed online here https://trackstar.wufoo.com/forms/2026-tsr-banger-drivers-contract Because there will be only so many bookings available on race days, day licences will not be available until we can understand the level of interest and enable us to prioritise those with a full licence. We will also be limiting the number of full licences available for the TSR Bangers to 80 applications, this is again so we can do as best we can to minimise drivers missing out on bookings on race days. We are pleased to confirm the race dates as below. Monday 6th April Monday 25th May Wednesday 29th July Monday 31st August There be 3 simple racing rules -No follow ins -No turning around -No parked car shots The cars will be 1600cc limit and must be built to National Bangers rules apart from these changes: -Bulkhead steam tanks only -You must run one original engine or gearbox mount -The following cars are NOT permitted No MK5 Astras No Zafiras No Insignias This class is separate to National 1600cc Bangers, which we will still be running. This formula is to introduce drivers back into the world of banger racing who do not want full contact and want a bit of fun. We want to encourage people young and old to enjoy a few dates during the season to come and have some fun.
