Get ready for a full-throttle evening of chaos and carnage — Micro Mayhem is back at Adrian Flux Arena this Saturday, with more Micro Bangers than ever! If you love engines roaring, panels rattling and pure, unadulterated banger action — this is where you need to be.
There’s nothing domestic about this domestic, 150 cars currently booked! The brilliant Micro Bangers; small in size but big in action top the line up with their Micro Banger UK Final with one of the biggest turn outs of the year for the class. The fast and furious 1600cc Bangers are in East Anglian Teams competition. The ever impressive Junior Bangers also on the line up, these kids don’t hold back and racing is just as good as their Adult counterparts. Completing things are the all action, brutal 1300cc Stock Cars rounding out the entertainment… a great night of motorised carnage coming up!
The Micro Banger title race is wide open, any number could take the title, and a few could upset the apple cart, 869 Jamie Steele defends the title and will face stiff competition to retain. 830 Lee White can never be discounted in the big races, 155 Sam Coote could be a dark horse for the title, should luck fall his way too; he finished top of the qualifying points so would be just reward if he took the Union Jack crown. 69 Brad Bartram is rapid around King's Lynn and will likely be up there at the end, he finished runner up last year – can he go one better? Similarly, 757 Callum Gill will be at the front challenging we're sure. 51 James Licquorice sits top of the Entertainers league and will likely be doing some crashing if the opening laps don't go his way. Similarly, 93 Lewis Godfrey likes to get stuck in, as can 699 Aaron Nelson; the UK Final is certainly going to be an interesting race to watch.
It's a double header of national banger action with the 1600cc national bangers joining us for the second time in two weeks, and yet again we have some great numbers in them. Over thirty 1600’s are in teams competition action action, with plenty of entertaining drivers amongst them all. On the action front 644 Alfie Sime is one who is very much one of the drivers who will happily put it about and Alfie is a driver who really can score heavily with some very good displays. He will be joined by another pair to keep an eye on are the Giddings boys 195 Billy and 951 Jack, both have been quality in the early part of this season with some devastating displays, and I’d expect similar tonight; wit h428 Nick Ashbridge completing their team, a very strong team that will be in contention for the Entertainer crown. Whilst THP7 will be front runners in the points scoring front with the Mayes boys; 69 Brad Bartram and 248 Jamie Blything. The 1600s really have given us some top action so far this season, and they have a little break of a few weeks after this, and they do tend to normally turn it on at a domestic meeting, so keep an eye on this class.
The 1300 Stock Cars are often considered one of the top classes to watch and we will soon see why, fence rattling action, metal clattering - watch the sparks fly. Former European Champion 167 Jimmy Morris will lead the charge. He will be pushed hard for the chequered flag with some of the top shale racers booked for battle; keep a watch for 388 Liam Santry who came home third in the European Championship here in August; along with 304 Tony Elbourn and 368 Charlie Santry; both have strong form around King’s Lynn. A healthy list of lower graders will be out to make the going tough for the top drivers and a number of drivers out for the first time around King’s Lynn this season and will be keen to make an impression; keep an eye on 41 Daniel Maltby, 69 Alfie Slatter and 70 Manson Arnold.
A fantastic turnout in the Juniors, 34 currently scheduled for action, fast and frantic action, we might see a bit of chaos from the youngsters. Junior Bangers are also back in action with us on Saturday, and points leader 609 Levi Murkin has now retired from the class so leaves 8 Taylor Morton up front; he has a strong gap to the next driver so will be looking to cement his place up front; keep an eye on 556 Lincoln Douglas who goes very well around the King’s Lynn shale. 210 Charlie Goode is having a superb season and improves each time; as does 730 Leo Mayes and he will be one to keep an eye on. A number of the lower grade racers are certainly going to be there or thereabouts at the chequered flag too and some top picks to keep an eye on; 379 Trayden Hardie, 389 Aiden Garrod, 432 Lucas James, 629 Jenson Tomlinson and 850 Wesley Parrin.
Enjoy the racing, we hope to see you there. Let’s get ready to rumble!
