Introduction
Coming up this Saturday night; it's a night of Vintage action as the Pre1980 Bangers take over, racing in three classes- Unders, mid-size and Overs. Plus the always superb Classic Cars 'R' Us Junior Bangers on the line up in classic cars as they race in Pre'95 machinery; they are fantastic entertainment at King's Lynn. It's going to be cool to see the Juniors putting on a show in retro motors; with thanks to Jack Garrod MOT and Vehicle Repairs for their support of this event.
What a great day this is going to be!
Drivers do what they can to win the race - which often resembles a 70mph traffic jam - by whatever means they can! The night ends with the famous Destruction Derby where the winner is the last car which can move after destroying the opposition.
Non stop entertainment for all the family - an event not to be missed.
There are 75 Pre'80 Bangers (22 Unders, 34 Mid-Class and 19 Overs) and 23 Pre'95 Junior Bangers booked in to race.
Drivers wanting to book in, may do so by messaging Paul Butler on 07939 580652 (Text or WhatsApp) please. Drivers if you are booked in and can no longer race, please let us know asap.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The drivers entrance gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.
The arena has great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.
A small amount of food and drink (500ml bottles maximum) can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you
We hope your enjoy your evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

Who doesn’t love Classic Car Banger action; we’ve run to a Pre’80 format a couple of times now; in a break from the norm of a Pre’75 format- remember even Saturday these machines are going to be 4 decades old at least. Domestic Pre-meetings are very much a rarity these days, meetings tend to be dedicated to drivers by way of Testimonials and Tribute events; so Saturday is very much a driver’s just wanting to race for the joy of racing the old machinery, which will be fantastic to see.
The Pre1980 Bangers, racing in three classes; Under 1750cc, Under 2000cc and Unlimiteds. . . Cars racing will be at least 44 years old...some may be closer to 50, 60 maybe even 70 and will be going out in a blaze of glory!
The mid-size class is set to be the biggest field of the day and anticipate Cortina’s and Triumphs to be the prominent motors. Entertainer League leader 51 James Licquorice is set to cause carnage as he looks to keep totting up his points haul. 178 Kieran Bowman will be on track and will be looking to put his motor to good use, similarly 910 Jack Rookard another who will feature heavily on the action front. 267 Martin French enjoys these type of events and will be there or thereabouts, whilst 21 Jason Colbert, 188 John Reeves, 252 Gareth Griffiths, 271 Ashlun Woods and 670 Max Eaton can never be discounted for a race win. Into the Unders, 310 Chas Lee will be racing under the number 14 for the evening, in a rare appearance for him as he pays tribute to his late father with a suitable presented motor too. ‘Sparky’ 67 Mark Whittaker makes a welcome return to the action and we will welcome him back. 212 Jack Maryon will be interesting to watch and is normally in amongst things, whilst 72 Billy Bond is another who returns to the action, good luck to him. 664 Danny Nuttall and 886 Andrew Topham are back at King’s Lynn after their outing at the Bilge Bonanza and we’re looking forward to seeing them back. Keep an eye out for 72 Kieran Bonsall who’s motor has seen some action and he will be looking to finally kill off that one. In the Overs, expect British Beef to be the order of the day with Rover P5’s, Granadas and Jaguars aplenty. Expect 321 Andy Newton, 621 Ryan Hawes and 624 Cameron Hubbard to feature well in amongst the result, with 60 Wayne French, 279 David Rushton and 299 Tomm Callaghan also looking to chase the chequered flag. Keep an eye on long distance travellers 90 Mark Bartlett, 91 Sam Bartlett and 697 Brandon Lawton who will be looking to make the journey worthwhile.
Following a number of enquiries; the Junior Bangers also get on the Vintage car action with Pre’95 machinery; the idea took off quite well and we’re anticipating a low/mid 20’s in action, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the Youngsters will be piloting. They don’t hold back normally and we’re sure their racing will be every bit as entertaining as the National Bangers tonight. The range of material on offer is going to be simply sublime. It’s going to be a tough call between 329 Jayden Carter, 339 Jack Garrod JNR and 545 Kaiden Bartrum for the best car, and they will certainly have something that has tongue’s wagging, whilst there is a flutter of other cool material. Keep an eye on 312 Daisy Reynolds, 478 Morgan Bailey, 669 William Cartwright and 920 Rhys Medley who often go well in regular Junior Banger outings and it will be interesting to see them take on some retro material, whilst 609 Levi Murkin will likely be in the hunt for points and will be set to continue his Points chart topping form.
It’s set to be a fantastic night with some top cars featuring across the evening. If you are a fan of vintage machines and retro shale shifting, you’ll love Saturday’s meeting!

Car parking
Customer visitor notice
Following a meeting with the Highways Agency we would like to advise Customers to not park on the main road outside the Arena on race days; this is causing issues with traffic and resulting in a number of complaints.
There is an onsite car park and with the weather hopefully now improving, the overflow parking field should also be available each meeting. Car parking at King’s Lynn is provided free of charge, please do use this.
We would also to like ask everyone to be considerate of our neighbouring Industrial area and to park respectfully if using that space.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Driver Bonus Fund!
Help the Drivers who Entertain you by donating to a bonus fund that will be split between the classes racing.
How will it work?
