Introduction

Unlimited Banger action is back this Saturday night, a big grid of cars currently scheduled. The best drivers from across the Country will be coming to do battle, big stars in big cars! Racing for the East Anglian Championship and the 2020 Whites and Yellow Finale to kick off the action.Joining the Bangers will be the 1300 Stock Cars; they're on a real high at the moment, brilliant racing and big grids of cars, this Saturday will be the same - It's going to be good! This event is advance ticket only, available in our website shop. 

There are 87 Unlimited Bangers and 45 1300 Stock Cars booked in to race.

The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. Please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed.

A small amount of food and drink can be bought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.

Face coverings are mandatory around the entire Arena, unless exempt by Government guidance for Age, Health or Disability. Please ensure this is worn when you leave your vehicle.

Let's go racing!

We’re looking forward to what is looking like being another fantastic session with both the Unlimited Bangers and the 1300 Stock Cars in action.

Both formulas have got fantastic numbers of cars booked in to race. We will also be recognising the efforts of the low grade drivers with both the Unlimited Bangers and 1300 Stock Cars set to run their 2020 White & Yellow Finals. The grid for these races is based on how drivers performed throughout 2020 whilst they were graded white or yellow and the grades used in this race are the grades which drivers had at the end of last year although they could well then be racing in a different grade for the rest of the night! It might all sound a bit complicated but it will all make sense when you see what is happening!

The National Bangers have been superb with us so far in 2021. It has been a very busy period for the formula up and down the country and nowhere more so than here at King’s Lynn where we have had no less than twelve different National Banger formulas in action over the past seven weeks. It has put a lot of pressure on our drivers and race teams and our thanks go to those who really have risen to the challenge! We have also had support from a vast amount of different drivers with a quite incredible 367 different National Banger drivers have raced here prior to Saturday. A special mention also has to go to 51 James Licquorice and 178 Kieran Bowman who have raced in ten and nine of the twelve formulas possible with James having raced at least one formula every time National Bangers have been at Lynn this year – and sometimes racing as many as three! Kieran and James are also both at the top of the Entertainer League here at Lynn so it is very rarely that either driver takes home a straight car!

We are very lucky to have such a dedicated group of National Banger drivers who race regularly with us and we would always like to thank all drivers and their race teams and drivers for their efforts.

The 1300 Stock Cars have equally been impressive here this year. Full “BriSCA” style formats with a qualified for final have been a regular feature of our meetings here this year and it looks like we will be running another full format meeting again. The 1300 Stock Cars have been the growth formula over the past few years and the number of drivers we are lucky enough to see here at King’s Lynn on a regular basis have made them a firm favourite with fans. The 1300 Stock Cars recently staged their British Championship along with the 2L Stock Cars who staged the same championship here last month and despite the 2L Stock Cars providing plenty of action even the most dyed in the wool 2L Stock Car fan had to admit that the 1300 Stock Cars were by far the best formula of the night!

Big fields of cars and different winners from throughout the grades and races with plenty of bumper action are the mainstay of what have made the 1300 Stock Cars what many now regard as being the top Stock Car formula to perform here – we hope you enjoy them Saturday.
