Introduction

What a night this is going to be! The first time for a long time that the F1 Stock Cars and 2L Saloons are on the same billing as one another and joined by the National Ministox, a Stock Car fan’s ideal evening! The BriSCA F1 Stock Cars race in the opening round of the National Shootout, the 2L Saloons racing for the Bumper Trophy and the Ministox have the King's Lynn open up for grabs.

There are 51 F1 Stock Cars and 36 2L Stock Cars and 30 National MiniStox booked in to race.

The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The pit gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.

The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, food outlets and other great facilities.

A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.

We hope you enjoy your evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

This Saturday the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars race in the opening round of the National Series, 11 of the 12 contenders scheduled for battle, including a number of stars of the future, can they upset the apple cart or will the old guard hold ranks, it’s going to be a great 10 rounds contest. Tom Harris defends the coveted Silver roof, who will step up to take it off of him.

Craig Finnikin (55) missing out on the Shootout might be a hard one to stop from the red grade, as could Jelle Tesselaar (H410) who certainly caused a stir at Bradford last weekend and Josh Smith (191) who was well in the mix here last time and at Northampton World Masters.

Bradley Harrison (25) has been going very well here too and will be one to watch; whilst Willie Skoyles (541) and Daz Kitson (532) also will be ones to watch from the yellow grade. It will be interesting to see how Steve Maidlow (362) gets on, many might remember him as a top F2 Shale racer in the 90’s and certainly was a force to be reckoned with on the EA shale scene, one to watch for sure!

A strong line up in the F1 Stock Cars, quick lower graders, lots of top drivers at the back, we’re in for a good night from the big league!

The Bumper trophy is up for grabs in the 2L Saloons, a good grid of them due and it’s going to be a great night! World Champion Timmy Barnes (131) joins us for the first time since winning the gold and needs no encouragement to get stuck in, none of the Barnes do in fairness and Timmy will be joined by Tommy (26) and Harry (126) on track. Simon Venni (570 will be back on track here and similarly needs no encouragement to get stuck in, similarly with Billy Smith (161) on the raceway too, the fence will rattle and the sparks will fly!

It’s good to see Darren Goudy (156) booked in too along with former World Champion Darren Parker (306), we’re looking forward to this! A huge thank you to Kevin Wickham for his help in organisation of this race, along with all the sponsors who came forward.

The National Ministox are always good entertainment, these youngsters don’t hold back! Racing for the King’s Lynn Open, the race often is a great watch. The Ministox were with us when we reopened in May and raced for the World of Shale, won by Henry Robson (67) in tricky conditions. Jack Witts (1) then went on to take back to back heat races, he will certainly be up there again today! Luke Syrett-Barsby (27) raced to victory in the meeting Final, ahead of Coby Laing (300) who came home second and Robson rounding out a good night in third. All will be in action again tonight, who will come out on top in the King’s Lynn Open?
