BriSCA F1 Stock Car action is back, with over 40 of them currently booked in which is great to see, still a number of drivers awaiting parts from America and other factors, a couple of new names the list too – it bodes well that numbers could climb further as the year progresses. The main protagonists that have made it on track so far look set to join us once again, World Champion Tom Harris (1) will be one of the front runners, seemingly not having it all his own way at Northampton last weekend and a mistake whilst chasing Ryan Harrison (197) here last month, Harris will be looking for more from Saturday. Harrison is not currently booked at the time of writing, but we do understand that he will be trying to make it on track after a stint over in America. Matt Newson (16) has got his new one up to speed and a couple of final wins this year will give him a big confidence boost into this weekend's action, of course you can’t discount Frankie Wainman JNR (515) either.
Charlie Sworder (5) will be hoping to follow in Dad Mick’s trye tracks of last week, where he won the final at Northampton and could well do it. It will be great to see Dutch Brothers Jelle (H410) and Niels (H418) Tessellar on track in their new machines and very likely to mix it up, we wish them good luck. Last month’s final winner Mick Howarth (235) jumps up to yellow, the way he was going last month, he could certainly be up the business end once again. Give a cheer to local drivers Willie Skoyles (541) and Lewis Galer (78) they will be giving it there all . . .good luck to them!
The all action 2L Saloons also ready for battle, most of the top drivers will be joining us too including; former World Champion Daniel Parker (306) makes a rare outing on Saturday, good luck to him; he picked up a win here last time out in September, so will be one to keep an eye on certainly. National Champion Brad Compton-Sage (902) makes the long trip up from Bristol to be with us, joining the multi champion Michael Allard (349) and World Champion Timmy Barnes (131) at the back of the grid.
Charlie Barnes (6) picked up a race win here at the start of the month on Bank Holiday Monday, as did Cole Atkins (399), both back looking for more of the same tonight. Deane Mayes (730) effort of changing his engine mid-meeting was rewarded with a win in the feature final; ahead of Luke Dorling (120) and Ryan Santry (389). Mayes would love it if he could repeat the win…hopefully without the engine change this time though!
Other talking points that afternoon was certainly the debut of Alfie Aldous (238) son of multi champ David. Alfie steered his way to a great debut, almost getting a maiden win too, just losing out half a lap from the end to Atkins who snuck the win, and Lizzie Crowden (184) sneaking through in to second. Crowden has been picking up good results else where since, a handful of victories last weekend at Northampton and Skegness, she will be full of confidence here and will be one to watch! As will Aldous, who didn’t have to wait long for his first win, taking victory in the meeting final at Northampton last Saturday. Another in with a good shout on the night.
The National MiniStox complete the line up, a late addition to the fixturesand therefore drivers racing for fun and not points, a number of the top drivers electing to save their cars for the more important Northern Ireland and Scotland tours coming up, so potentially a different set of drivers in the mix on Saturday. They were in their usual good form last weekend at Sheffield; Boden Murfin (425), Jamie Hanson (611) and Jake Woodhull (335) took the heat victories before Lucy Witts (180) took a win in a superb final; pipping Thomas Rogers (277) and Murfin to the flag. Rogers incidentally the final winner here in March; will be hoping his good form continues. Tom Earl (77) was a race winner here in March too, he’s upto red this time, but will hoping to make his way up the order.
The Ministox is wide open now and anyone could be in within a shout of winning, keep an eye on Freddie Rogers (269) and Joelan Maynard (51) both a strong contender for the chequered flag, but there’s a number of quick lower graders who could make it difficult for them to move forward. Lilly Finnikin (55) off of white may take some stopping, similarly Brooke Kitson (732) who was very quick last week at Sheffield, just didn’t have the luck to match.
A great night of racing lined up, enjoy your evening with us.

Car Share Initiative
Not quite like Peter Kay, but….
With the increased costs in travel, we encourage as many people to carpool and share travelling this year. Help others and in turn help yourself too. You might find new friends along the way, connect better with existing ones and have fun along the way… car pool karaoke anyone?
If you have spare seats and are prepared to take passengers, please let us know your location! If you would like to attend, but don’t have the transport, equally let us know where you are from and we will try and match people up.
Share and spread the word; support the sport and in turn help each other
Traffic Disruption
Traffic disruption this weekend -Trackstar would like to remind visitors to the Stadium of traffic disruptions due over the weekend along some major access roads.
The A17 at Sutton Bridge will see disruption and long delays could be expected during the day. Those using this route are advised to leave extra time for their journey.
Please spread the word
