2nd October Meeting – Cancelled

We have reluctantly had to make the decision to cancel tomorrow night’s F2 Stock Car, 2L Saloon and 1300 Stock Car fixture.

We have had several drivers pull out of the meeting over the past 24 hours due to not been able to get fuel for the meeting and there are also others who have asked us to mark their booking as “provisional” as it is dependent on getting enough fuel before leaving tomorrow.

Allied to this the poor weather forecast has also further deteriorated over the past 24 hours with over 10mm of rain expected to fall tomorrow with the majority of it set to come between 4pm and 8pm which is the worse possible time for the track.

Normally we would run with the weather but with the entry set to fall by up to a third with the fuel problems we do not believe we will be able to put on the type of event which our customers expect.

This has led us to cancelling the meeting 2nd October, a decision not taken lightly. With fixture pressures at the Stadium and around the Country until the end of the season, we are sadly unlikely to be rearranging this date.

Customers who have purchased tickets in advance will receive a full refund automatically, this may take a couple of days to process and return to you, depending on who you Bank with.

Thank you to the drivers who were ready to race and the fans that had commit to supporting, we apologise for any inconvenience.
