R.I.P. Scott “The Dog” Taylor

It’s with great sadness we announce that former Trackstar Banger driver and Spedeworth scrutineer Scott “The Dog” Taylor has lost his fight with cancer. Scott, formally of Wisbech, was a regular racer in the Bangers, at Boston, Swaffham, King’s Lynn etc, and the Alwalton Stock Cars where he was a regular star grade driver in his familiar silver coloured cars. Recently Scott was involved with his Daughter's racing at Skegness in the Junior formulas and then in the Spedeworth Back to Basics at Great Yarmouth, Scotts now local track since re locating.

The last couple of years Scott became more involved with the official side of racing becoming a Scrutineer at Spedeworth, also helping at Trackstars bigger meetings where he became an important part of the team type, with great enthusiasm he was a great asset.

Scott was a very likable bloke, great sense of humour and will be missed greatly by all that knew him, our condolences go to Sarah and the family at this terrible time.
