Junior Bangers

Junior Bangers are a relatively new formula which were introduced by Trackstar in 2013 in order to give affordable contact racing to young drivers in a safe and controlled environment.

Racing is for drivers aged between 11 and 16 and has grown and flourished since the formula was started.

Rules are strictly limited contact with "follow ins" and hitting of stationary cars being strictly prohibited. Any rule breakers are immediately taken out of the formula which operates a zero tolerance policy.

The formula keeps going from strength to strength and turnouts have gone up in this formula to 40 cars a meeting typically and the action and entertainment which this class delivers is no different to that offered by the adult formulas.

Any new drivers to the formula must go through an ORC Junior Driver competency test before being allowed to race and the sitting of this has to be agreed in advance by the promotion
