Every now and then a meeting comes along that is so special it stays in the memory of race fans for a long time. The Maarten Steenbekkers “last one for number 1” meeting certainly lived up to expectations Saturday 16th July. 102 Bangers ventured to King’s Lynn with drivers from across the UK and Holland making the journey to honour Maarten.

Widely being claimed as meeting of the year, if not the decade, the drivers put on an incredible show for the very large crowd. From Dodgems, Bangers and a first class party vibe, the atmosphere was nothing short of incredible. Lots of cars, lots of beautifully prepared machines and some superb action.
