It was the turn of the 1500cc Bangers for the Icebreaker 6^th February, just over 140 cars in the pits that put on a solid day of Banger action across the day. Thankfully the weather stayed dry most of the day, albeit for a short sharp shower towards the end, but didn’t detract from things and the final was as chaotic as expected with around 60 cars on track, the meeting from start to finish action packed with great racing and awesome wrecking; high impact, big hits and a number of rollovers all afternoon. Lennie Murkin (608) taking home the points title almost single handed for the Ellis Crew team, with Team Blue and Black ‘A’ taking the entertainers league crown; whilst they were clear at the top, the positions following were closely contested in what was a great 1500cc Banger Icebreaker.
