Introduction
Our Awesome April concludes at the Adrian Flux Arena; with a double header of BriSCA action; F1 and F2 Stock Cars; non stop superb Stock Car racing!
The big and brutal BriSCA F1 Stock Car’s in action- as seen on Top Gear, their road to gold continues with vital World Championship Qualifying Points up for grabs, whilst the superb F2 Stock Cars race in search of World of Shale Championship qualifying points; it's all on the line for Super Stock Car Saturday! Both of the classes Season Openers here were great entertainment.
F1 Stock Cars as seen on Top Gear! Stock Car Racing is everything you saw on TV and so much more; noise, colour, smell, friends, family and . . . awesome Short Oval Motorsport. It really has to be seen live to be believed.
Stock Car Racing is Magic …69 years and STILL Thrill Of The Century! Thrills, spills, racing, crashing and bumping the opposition out the way; is all part of the spectacle!
There are 48 BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and 57 BriSCA F2 Stock Cars booked in to race.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The pit gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.
The arena has great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, food outlets and other great facilities.
A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.
We hope you enjoy your evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

It’s only live once!
Back to BriSCA business this Saturday, a double helping of BriSCA F! and F2 action. Starting with the F1 Stock Cars, this is the formula which Freddie Flintoff raced at King's Lynn last year and was then the subject of a thirty minute piece on "Top Gear" last November.
Described on Top Gear as "The epicentre of Stock Car Racing", King's Lynn has played host to some classic F1 Stock Car action in recent years, with World Championship Qualifying points up for grabs you can guarantee the majority of the sport's top names will be there and more classic action unfolding before your very eyes.
Tom Harris (84) is the in-form man for sure in the BriSCA F1’s, but this is Stock Car Racing after all, so anything could happen and anyone could stop him. Local driver Mat Newson (16) could be in the hunt to do just that, he was a race winner last month, as was Craig Finnikin (55) who we all know how quick he can be on the loose. Lee Fairhurst (217) will join us too, and much like them, can be as quick as anyone around here. Casey Englestone (120) was a race winner here last month and will be out in search of more. Sam Brigg (587) won the meeting final winner last time here and took it in convincing style, he too is in good form, coming close to victory at Sheffield on Sunday; how will he get on, Saturday? Dave Polley (138) is back in the F1’s, he was getting to grips well on his debut last month and was certainly attempting to mix it as well. He has had another meeting under his belt since, and could be one to watch; fellow BriSCA F2 Star driver Micky Brennan (968) joins him too and it will be interesting to see how he fairs. World Champion Charlie Sworder (5) should be in action in a more familiar car on Saturday after borrowing one Easter Sunday; the young gun isn’t shy of mixing it with the bumper in and will be keen to show off in his golden year. Bobby Griffin (166) is another driver who’s not afraid to make use of the bumper and will be a driver to keep an eye on come race day.
Sam Makim (93) is back again, the Blackpool based racer is one of the furthest travelled to be here and rarely misses a meeting in the F1’s, we always watch with interest how he gets on. Lenny Smith (185) made a return to the F1 Stock Cars last month after a long lay off, we’re sure he will be back on pace in no time, he has certainly got the pedigree and car to do it! We hope Joe Booth (446) has a better outing this time round, Joe is one to watch on track, a quick and an aggressive racer, so we were gutted for him when he retired in a big cloud of smoke last meeting. It’s good to see hardy shale lower graders back for another season, the likes of Geoff Nickolls (215) and Chris Brocksopp (338) are the back-bone of the Spot and we look forward to seeing them back on Saturday; joining the likes of Richard Woods (268), Jake Harrhy (345) and Russell Cooper (415) who were in action at the opening night.
The F2 Stock Cars are also in action; the F2s have produced some amazing racing at King's Lynn over the past 12 months and the last meeting was no different; the 4th March was a fantastic night, particularly in the second half. Another bumper entry of them anticipated for their second out of the season here this weekend; and it’s good to see some Dutch visitors back once again. Riccardo Smidt (H186) was getting in the mix of the action with some good results to his credit, he’s back again this weekend, Smidt found himself locked in a battle with Charlie Guinchard (183) 4th March, it may be worth keeping an eye on them. Guinchard had a luckless outing here that night and will be very keen to make amends this time.
The Issitt Brothers had a good night last time out, both picking up a win each, Pat (113) taking the win in the Consolation, whilst Jack (103) took the feature final of the day. These two are very established shale racers and take some catching when they get out in front, they’re looking to be back with us on Saturday and definitely one’s to keep an eye on. Josh Rayner (414) took his new car to victory in one of the heat races, whilst European Champion Gordon Moodie (7) took a heat win too; Moodie needs no introduction and always a favourite for a win in whatever race you can’t discount him, if he keeps clear of collisions, he will be challenging for the chequered flag more!
Liam Rennie (3) makes the long journey down from Scotland to join us, we wish him well. He’s got stiff competition with very experienced shale racers at the back with him; World of Shale Champion Charley Tomlin (129), Billy Webster (226) and Andrew Palmer (606); they will all certainly be at the business end of the race come the chequered flag. Keep an eye on Greg McKenzie (47) and Jack Witts (880) too, they were both final winners on the shale over Easter, could they double up with another this weekend?
We’re surrounded by a lot of local talent at King’s Lynn, we will be watching local racers Marcus Gilbert (43), Scott Aldridge (715) and Harry Hensby (929) to see how they get on in the F2’s. We hope Marcus will keep it on all four wheels this time! Whilst we’ll be watching Willie Skoyles (541) in the F1 Stock Cars and hoping he too has a night of better luck.
Give them all a shout and cheer; let’s get to go racing!
Car Parking
Customer visitor notice
Following a meeting with the Highways Agency we would like to advise Customers to not park on the main road outside the Arena on race days; this is causing issues with traffic and resulting in a number of complaints.
There is an onsite car park and with the weather hopefully now improving, the overflow parking field should also be available each meeting. Car parking at King’s Lynn is provided free of charge, please do use this.
We would also to like ask everyone to be considerate of our neighbouring Industrial area and to park respectfully if using that space.
Thank you for your co-operation.
