Introduction
BriSCA 2022 King’s Lynn Finale!
The curtain falls on a fantastic BriSCA season at King’s Lynn in 2022 with a huge F1 and F2 Stock Car Finale - National Series Double Header! The F1 Stock Cars compete in National Shootout Round 7, a 2023 WQR and the GN Championship too! Plus a rather special memorial race for Ben Turner on the meeting final. A huge night on the line for the fast and furious F1’s, PLUS the F2 Stock Cars race in their National Series Round 5 and W and Y grade finale - the F2's have been fantastic at King's Lynn this year.
It’s all happening at King’s Lynn on the 22nd October as the BriSCA Season finishes at the venue- you don’t want to miss it
There are 50 F1 Stock Cars and 50 F2 Stock Cars booked in to race.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The pit gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.
The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, food outlets and other great facilities.
A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.
We hope you enjoy your evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

The big and brutal BriSCA F1 Stock Cars are in attendance, loud and proud - they race in a 2023 World Qualifying Round, the Grand National Championship, Ben Turner Memorial Final and Shootout round 7 sponsored by TengTools – a huge thank you to them for their contributions. Tom Harris (84) sits at the top of the Shootout leader board, he didn’t have it all his own way last weekend, with Frankie Wainman (515) chasing him down and taking the fight to him, can FWJ make further inroads today? Lee Fairhurst (217) didn’t have the best of nights either last week at Bradford, allowing Wainman to close in, along with Mat Newson (16) who also closed the gap, around 50pts separate the top four, with double points on the finale next month, in reality, there isn’t much in it and still all to play for!
Elsewhere in the F1’s they race for all important World Championship qualifying points, vital points in the road to gold qualification and the big 3 day festival at Northampton next September; we’re sure will add an interesting dynamic to the action tonight. The Grand National Championship is on the billing, after the successful return to a single race format last year, a points order grid for this one will throw up some interesting starting positions. Last year’s race was probably one of the best opening laps of the season, Frankie Wainman (515) raced away to victory and defends the trophy Saturday! Finally, but not least, the Ben Turner Memorial Trophy is up for grabs on the meeting final. Thank you Ian Bennett and Howard Turner for approaching us to stage the race, we’re very honoured to have been asked and we hope the race does Ben proud; the story of Ben is truly heartbreaking; please take the time for a moment to think of Ben and his family on Saturday. #RacingForBen.
Craig Finnikin (55) is the in form man on Shale currently and most would be bet on him having another good night; he won the last King’s Lynn final, can he make it two in a row? Sam Makim (93) is a regular visitor to the Saddlebow Road venue and will be hoping to have a good night. Local hero Willie Skoyles (541) took home a race win last time and will be searching for another one today. Fellow local racer Callum Gill (457) is another we will be watching out for, a downgrade to yellow could see the King’s Lynn youngster well amongst the results. James Smith (100) is one we will be keeping an eye on too, he’s had a problematic year since moving in to the F1’s, here’s hoping his season ends on a high as the weeks go by. Welcome back to the action Lenny Smith (185) after a few years out, he returns to the class, a handy performer on his day and it probably won’t take long for the former Banger racer to settle into the groove again.
Also on the billing, the smaller, but no less action, BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, featuring their White and Yellow series finale and National Points Series round. Their first meeting here since the hugely successful World Final event at the beginning of September; Dave Polley (1) will be proudly displaying the gold roof and number 1 atop of his machine. Polley drove a superb race 3rd September, he had one chance to put out Charlie Guinchard (183) and he took it. Both in action on Saturday chasing the F2 Silver Roof National Series; Guinchard does have a fair lead, but Polley and Guinchard could end up squabbling as they did at Skegness a few weeks ago, letting Harley Burns (992) reel in the top position. . . it’s not over yet!
Jon Palmer (24) is a long distance visitor and he sure does like to mix things up; he knows what the front bumper is for! A couple of Dutch visitors are a welcome addition and throw in to the mix hardy shale specialists in the first half of the grid; the Issitt Brothers, Kyle Taylor (136), Rob Mitchell (905) and Michael Lund (995); it's going to be a competitive night from the F2's.
Aaron Patch (188), Luke Woodhull (344) and Barry Clow (597) will be ones to watch in yellow grade plus Gavin Mason (351), Connor Blake (543) and Daniel Vaughan (707) in the white grade could prove tough competition from the lower graders.
We’re in for a good night of BriSCA F2 action thank you to Beechwood Contractors for their support of the F2 Stock Cars in 2022. With the awesome F1 Stock Cars on the billing too, a top night of BriSCA action in coming!

Ben Turner Memorial Final
The Ben ‘Benny’ Turner Memorial Race
The F1 Stock Car meeting final on Saturday sees the 7th running of a race put together by the Turner family to remember the life of Benny who sadly lost his life aged just 15 in May 2015 to a rare form of cancer after an agonisingly tough three year battle. He was a huge F1 Stock Car fan, especially Frankie Wainman Jnr and he also loved everything agricultural, especially tractors. With thanks to Ian Bennett and Howard Turner for asking us to hold the race; we are immensely honoured to be hosting this special race. We hope it's a good one - this is for you! #RacingForBen
F1 Stock Car Shootout
The race for the Silver roof Shoot out continues here with round number 7, with thanks to TengTools for their contribution to the prize fund. 12 drivers, 10 rounds, 1 champion!
F2 Stock Car National Series
It's also the F2 Stock Car National Series this Saturday, this is going to be good! It's not over yet!
Enhance F1 Stock Car Prize Funding
Enhanced F1 prize funding this weekend!
A huge thank you to long standing Trackstar sponsor T M Browne Developments who have boosted the winner’s purse for the Grand National championship; the winner will now take home £500.
There will also be an additional £100 plus trophy to both the best yellow and the best blue top.
With thanks again to T M Browne Developments; the Helter Skelter (we don’t have a Grand National as the GNC will have concluded earlier in the night) will also pay £500 for the winner (normal monies on the rest of the places). If the Final winner takes the lap handicap and wins the Grand National they will receive £1000!!!!
The meeting final is for the Ben Turner Trophy. The Family have generously given an additional £100 to the final winner and we have boosted the final winner's purse to £400 which means the final winner will take home £500 and the best white / yellow grade finisher in the final will also receive an additional £100 bonus together with a trophy. If a white / yellow grade driver wins the Final they will receive both awards.
