Introduction
The Stock Car season will roar into life with our traditional Stock Car opener, Saturday 4th March. The superb F2 Stock Cars battle out in a WCQR action, the sensational 2L Stock Cars racing for the Charlene Kingston Memorial & the awesome 1300cc Stock Cars on the line up where track time will be all important ahead of their World Final at King's Lynn in August. It all gets under way this Saturday first race @ 5pm; always a brilliant meeting and kicks off what will be another sensational season in 2023.
STILL Thrill Of The Century! Stock Car Racing is Magic... 69 years on!
Too many cars, on too small a track, some races will see close to 40 cars on track. Thrills, spills, racing, crashing and bumping the opposition out the way; is all part of the game where the fastest drivers start at the back and have to work their way to the front!
There are 66 BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, 32 2L Saloon Stock Cars and 42 1300 Stock Cars booked to race.
The pit gate will open for competitors at 2pm, the gates for ticket holders will open at 3pm. If purchased advance tickets, please have your e-ticket confirmation ready, either on your phone or printed. The pit gate is for competitors only, there is no pedestrian access at this gate.
The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, food outlets and other great facilities.
A small amount of food and drink can be brought with you into the stadium; alcohol, glass and coolboxes are not permitted. Thank you.
We hope you enjoy your evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.

We...are...back! Stock Car racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena and what a way to start things off in 2023.
The F2 Stock Cars kick off their road to gold campaign with a superb turnout; just over 70 at the time of writing. The list quality, as well as quantity, featuring many of the top drivers from the class. Current World Champion Dave Polley (38/1) is back at the track where he took the Gold and will lead the charge as he looks to defend his gold crown later this year. He will be joined by a long list of challengers itching to beat him to the win on Saturday, not least Andrew Palmer (606) who was certainly one of the drivers to push and challenge Polley last year; former World Champion Gordon Moodie (7) throws his name in the ring too; and will be looking to get his 2023 campaign off to a flying start. Charlie Guinchard (183) had a phenomenal 2022, winning the British Championship and Points title amongst the many wins and will be looking for more this Season; eyes will be firmly set on the Gold roof in September, and he will be looking to get that journey going.
A big turnout of F2’s were making good use of the practice session last Sunday, including Billy Webster (226) who was one of the quickest on track and The Issitt’s Jack (103) and Pat (113) showing good speed. Former Hot Rod Superstar Andy Steward (198) was also on track getting to grips with his new PolleySport built F2, it will be interesting to see how he get’s on with a change of formula. Former Saloon World Champion Simon Welton (6) was also here last Sunday putting in some good laps, make sure you read his interview in the meeting programme! Liam Rennie (3) has a stunning new Shale car for this year and similarly was out testing here a few weeks ago ready for the new year.
Welcome to our Dutch friends who are looking to join us, a handful of them venturing over to the King’s Lynn shale – including Ricardo Smidt (H186) who is no stranger to the chequered flag around here and Kay Lenssen (H154) who went very well World Final Weekend, good luck to them all.
The 2L Saloons join us and race for the Charlene Kingston memorial trophy; a number of the top drivers joining us in honour of Charlene; where Saloons were her favourite formula. Topping the line up is Michael Allard (349) the current holder of the gold roof, he is no slouch around King’s Lynn and expect him to be very much in the mix. He debuts a new car too, it was going very well last week at the practice session and was quickly up to speed; top tip for honours on Saturday. Keep an eye out for Barry Russell (600), he makes his regular visit to King’s Lynn from North of the border, and is one of the quickest around here aswell, he was well involved in the huge last bender of the ORCi championship here in September, where he then went on to victory!
Alfie Aldous (238) certainly found his feet in 2022 and could certainly be one to watch on Saturday as he looks to improve on his debut year. Richard Regan (319) defends the Charlene Kingston Memorial on Saturday and will be making sure he’s in contention for that. 2022 Track Champion Ryan Santry (389) will be here again, one of the hardest track championships to win and Santry will be looking to defend that to the end this season. Wes Starmer (525) will be one to keep an eye on too, he’s a very quick driver who knows how to use the bumper, one to watch! Aaron Totham (561) perhaps used to favour the tarmac but some success on the King’s Lynn shale last season tempts him back for more this weekend, perhaps one that might slip on the radar when it comes to the top spot, he will be trying! Of course the ever present Deane Mayes (730) can’t be discounted either. The Saloons also boosted with Dutch visitors, Bart Wouters (H868) has raced with us a few times and Faybien Martens (H231) who makes his track debut, good luck to both of them.
A handful of new drivers on the scene getting ready for the season last weekend at the practice day, good luck to Cain Harding (100) and Dan Weevers (333) we look forward to seeing how they get on.
With thanks to the Kingston family, Arbus Ltd and Stuart's Coaches of Carluke for providing sponsorship in the 2L Saloons.
The 1300 Stock Cars continue to show their merit as one of the top formulas; high end 30’s scheduled again; track time will be crucial with their World Final event here in the Summer. National Points Champion Jacob Bromley (303) tops the list, the Trackstar Silver roof will be looking to get his campaign off to a good start after securing that title in a showdown with European Champion Carl Waterfield (600) at the last meeting of the season, these two might be ones to watch should they meet on track. World of Shale Champion Tom Alsop (537) has a new car for the year and will be looking to get his 2023 off to a good start before he defends that title in December. Todd Payne (149) is back up to red and will be wanting to make sure he doesn’t go back down the grades again; whilst Jake Banwell (391) will be wanting to get his season off to a good start. Jimmy Morris (167) could prove a danger from his downgrade to blue and may take some stopping, a very quick and capable driver. Similarly, Ed Selby (244) and Chris Taylor (421) are both quick drivers and will be ones to watch in the mid pack. Moving towards the front of the grid; Sonny Wright (13) has a very smart new car too for the season, it too was going well last weekend; he will be joined in the yellow grade by Shane Moat (573) and Charlie Sime (584), both on their day very capable drivers. Luke Jackson (450) returns to the 1300cc Stock Cars as well, his cars were always well presented and he will be hoping to get straight back amongst it on Saturday.
Daniel Bitson (7) will line up in the white grade, a very accomplished Banger driver, who does well in the 1300cc Stock Cars too. Aaron Tweed (230) and Cal Curtis (669) are also banger racing converts taking to the Stock Cars, it will be interesting to watch them progress. Riley Shinn (401) moved in to the Stock Cars last season after a spell in Junior Bangers, Riley was getting up to speed in the meetings he did, it won’t be long before he starts taking the chequered flag. Good luck to Mikey Whitehall (74) who joins him as a Junior Banger graduate too. Alex Rugg (9) and Conner Shinn (319) move in to the class, some track time last Sunday at Practice and some more seat time the pair could be chasing top positions quite quickly.
The Stock Car Season opener, not to be missed... We hope you have a good evening with Trackstar at King's Lynn.
